I couldn't remember who Daniel Evans, who a few of you are naming, was. Just googled him and see who you mean now but can't for the life of me think why he is getting the "least favourite contestant ever" vote! What did he do that was so bad? OK his singing was a bit cringeworthy and you could argue he should have been voted off first, but least favourite ever??

My vote is Christopher Maloney.
He's the one with the dead wife. He's practically a precursor to Maloney.

My vote is Christopher Maloney.
It was the way he relentlessly and cynically exploited the fact that he had a dead wife to win votes despite being completely average in every way.
Thanks. I didn't like him much either but am surprised he provoked such a reaction. Still, we all have our own opinions.
To be fair it's not often I strongly dislike a contestant enough to feel that way, and of course all these years later I couldn't give a stuff about him. But back then I definitely remember raging over his presence every Saturday night.
I can usually tolerate someone on the show who either has a poor attitude and unlikable personality but has talent, or has little to no talent but seems to sincerely try and be a decent enough person.I only ever really disliked those who were extreme combinations of dislikable/had bad attitudes and voices the wrong side of average or poor technique causing unpleasant vocals who either didn't seem to try to improve or could obviously never be good no matter what they tried to improve and took themselves seriously when the novelty acts could outsing them.
Rachel H and the twin karaoke K's Kitty/Katie come to mind.
In fairness, I heard a clip of Rachel recently. I remember allowing that while horribly out of tune on the show, unlike KittyKatie , she had a good tone and could possibly sound good with work and suitable music, and that if she ever did, I'd gladly be the first to say so.
I'm saying so. In her recent clip, she looked great and sounded much better than she did on the show, not to mention mostly in tune.
I will go with Katie for most disliked.Kitty was so desperate a wanna-but-never-gonnabe I can almost pity her, where Katie was just ...I will leave it at that, as I'd rather focus on positive things like appreciating the acts with talent this season, none of whom I dislike.
Not so honorable mention goes to Maloney. He was a passably good singer, but he really did come across as creepy.
Scenery chewing Christopher Maloney
Cheryl's 2002 self - Cher Lloyd
Desperate fame twaddle- Katie Waissel
Sewer shag a lots - Frankie Coccoza
No one cares, no one cares no one cares- Rachel Whatshername

He made me shudder every time he performed.

I was going to say Rachel Hylton too, but mainly for her stinking attitude as well.

Lmao
Bitchy untalented horror
I think they are treating Tamera like this on the current series - which is why the public have not taken to her a la Katie.
