There is a danger that it will follow Doctor Who and disappear up its own backside.

I'm getting that sense already. Lots of snappy dialogue and nothing else.

    Zzzz.

Ffffff cough. :D:D There's a lot more comedy in this series than the last. Has someone new written this script?

I think the snappy dialogue is massively important - re- establishment, the stories will happen. And they will be part of this 'irrelevant' stuff, and refer back in some way.

Yeah, she was declared bankrupt I believe but despite Martin having signed up for the Hobbit she stated she wouldn't take his money to sort it out as she wanted to pay her own debts.

Not sure her creditors would agree with her principles.

I wonder if Martin asked Steven and Mark for a little favour?

I don't know what she's been in, but the last time I saw her on TV she was in a Maltesers advert...

I don't like that they're making the whole episode it seems about poking fun at fan theories and the series 2 cliffhanger.

Tell us a story, there's only 3 bloody episodes. :D

Yes, 90 minutes of 'comedy' is just what the series needed...

This snappy dialogue is very like Elementary now. I wonder why they decided to take this route.

Might have been in The Paradise, never watched it. Something in my mind says so though.

Moriarty constructed a scenario that he was an innocent actor who Sherlock was obsessing on and framing. I also think he suggested Sherlock had in fact committed several crimes just so he could solve them for public glory (I may have made that bit up). The police and media bought it and Sherlock was hounded.

He then planned to kill himself and put the blame on Sherlock insisting Sherlock kill himself otherwise those close to him would be killed.

Sherlock saw no way out so committed suicide...although this was in fact faked by the use of a bungee rope and Darren Brown. :D

Apparently Moffat and Gatiss asked her in the kitchen after going round to Freeman's house to watch something on TV.

Nice to keep it in the family...
