Had samphire for the first time today. Quite nice. I expected to sort of taste a but fishy or seawatery but it didn't.

Went out for dinner tonight, so had chicken, sausage and stuffing pie with chips and vegetables (a mix of carrots, cabbage, swede, broccoli and cauliflower), and then an amazing dessert of shortcake with strawberry mousse.

Wedges - spicey, mushy peas, curry sauce with mushrooms - breaded haddock for hubby & Quorn fillet for me! Treat night for me!:)

^ that sounds lovely fizzle - I've never baked a sweet potato, just roasted them cubed or diced in soups.
