The CW have previous tried to launch "Wonder Woman" and
"Aquaman" shows with no luck. Here's hoping this
is more successful.

Me too. It was well made with a good cast, amazing production design/art direction and some decent stories It only failed in the US because of poor scheduling and high costs.
It never made it to terrestrial TV in the UK.
I bought the box set from Amazon US when it was discounted quite a bit a while ago. Don't have the luxury of Satellite TV.
Neither do I these days. Free(view) at last!:)

I'm sure it used to be something like
9pm The Flash
10pm WWF Superstars
11pm Freddy's Nightmares
Listened to John Wesley Shipp talking at length on a podcast recently and he seems like a very nice and interesting man.
Maybe not

Further to my previous suggestion of JWS appearing as Jay Garrick in any Flash TV show, I found out a while ago that he did the voice of Professor Zoom, the Reverse-Flash in an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold

I believe Flash was due to appear in Arrow towards the end of the season but due to Barry Allen's 2 Arrow episodes doing so well they decided to scratch the later Flash episodes and opt for the pilot instead.
That's and it makes sense. If the Flash made his first appearance in an episode of Arrow then the episode would be 50% Green Arrow and 50% Flash whereas if he appears first in the pilot episode of his own show it will be 100% about him
Don't get me wrong, i look forward to a Flash spin off.
But i do like a cross over episode... Not to the extent where Smallville became Justice league light but the odd team up never hurts.
I'm sure when Flash is up and running (excuse the pun) that Green Arrow will make appearances in that and vice versa.
I hope that happens too

So that's Professor Zoom aka the Reverse Flash cast
More of a sci-fi bent???
Presumably that means the Rogues will appear
