It will be more focused on the paralympics though, won't it.

Don't know...the shows since the Paralympics in 2012 have still included the sport but the focus has been on the news and especially disability related news. But you make a good point, time shall only tell :D

Perhaps they're moving into general sports related commentary rather than just paralympics. They're a really good team with great banter. Love Adam Hills Australian accent it makes him sound so cheerful. He's a really skilled presenter too and was very good reacting tactfully when the oscar pistorius story broke.

I'm glad it's on for 50 minutes, it works better in the longer format.

BBC 2 is going to get in on the act.
    Alan Davies Apres Ski
Alan Davies is to host a new BBC comedy show linked to the Winter Olympics.

Alan Davies Après-Ski will be broadcast on BBC Two on Friday nights at 10pm, once a week for the three weeks the Winter Games are set to run for.

The show is described by producers as a comedy entertainment programme focusing on the Winter Olympics. They explain: "Alan and his guests take a funny, irreverent and entertaining look at all the action from the games in Sochi, from the craziest events to the weird and wonderful watercooler moments, and celebrate what makes the Olympics so special."

Alan Davies lacks a certain charm for me, amusing 'enough' though.
I can see a similar comedy/chat/daily roundup type show been produced for the world cup.

Is Alan Davies going to have a limb amputated for his show?

Yes he is but either they have pre-recorded it for once or will do it without him I guess? I don't think they're going to Sochi but I might be wrong. I really can't remember.
