These are the athletes that are 100% going to the World Indoors in Poland because they won their finals and also possess the A Standard.
Asha Phillip - 60m James Dasaolu - 60m Margaret Adeoye - 400m Nigel Levine - 400m Laura Muir - 800m Lee Emanuel - 1500m Andy Vernon - 3000m Will Sharman - 60mH Andy Pozzi - 60mH Holly Bleasdale - Pole Vault Luke Cutts - Pole Vault
The GB selectors can choose up to 2 people per event at their discretion. The people above have already secured their place in the team for winning their respective events.
I presume that the selectors will probably pick Andrew Osagie (800m), Eilidh Child (400m), Robbie Grabarz (High Jump) and Dina Asher-Smith (60m) as well. Of course they'll pick other people to be part of the GB team, but they can only select 2 people per event. Katarina Johnson Thompson is competing in Holland (I think) next week to try and get the qualifying standard for the Pentathlon because the IAAF have to invite 8 finalists to compete for the heptahlon (men) and pentahlon (women). Dwain Chambers might get chosen for the 60m also, depending on whether the British selectors are willing to risk what happened last year.
Jesus H. Christ. That is up there with Bob Beamon. I thought that record would last for decades. Absolutely one of the greatest achievements in the whole history of athletics. And he did it in Donetsk, Bubka's home town. First time clearance!
And on the flip side to that is it now time to add Jodie Williams to the list of British sprinters who excelled at Junior level but never made that transition to senior level. Asha Philip looking good though, who would have thought she'd be so close to Ahoure & Shelly-Ann?
Amidst all the deserved plaudits for Lavilennie, Luke Cutts vaulted 5.81 so he's showing great consistency too.
If anyone wants an update on the athletes definitely going to Sopot so far, here it is:
Asha Phillip - 60m James Dasaolu - 60m (providing his injury isn't too serious) Margaret Adeoye - 400m Nigel Levine - 400m Laura Muir - 800m Mukhtar Mohammed - 800m (wasn't sure on this, but apparently he has the indoor standard from last year, as standard entries can be accepted from 1 January 2013 onwards) Lee Emanuel - 1500m Jemma Simpson - 1500m Andy Vernon - 3000m Will Sharman - 60mH Andy Pozzi - 60mH Holly Bleasdale - Pole Vault Luke Cutts - Pole Vault Robbie Grabarz- High Jump
The team will be selected on Monday and announced on Tuesday.
I think Andrew Osagie, Dwain Chambers, Eilidh Child, Tiffany Porter, Shara Proctor and Charlie Grice are almost certainties to be selected as well, but not sure on the other positions in the squad.

Looks that way for the Pentathlon - if she recovers from her illness though she should go in the LJ and/or HJ at least.
