Me too. She's the one character who just grates for me. Loving this series. Ratings have been down a bit I hear but I hope it gets renewed. I'm really rooting for Lady Mae to get one up on the odious Lord Loxley.
Me too it gets better and better. And yes about Lady Mae too.
In an earlier post I said that I thought Delphine would have an affair with Mr S, but others said they thought she was more interested in Mrs S. Last night's episode makes her characters intentions no clearer. I can't work out if D is trying to trap him in someway or whether she is making a play for him. Rose looked a bit suspicious of her. I hope he does not fall for D - her character does not seem to fit in. She looks overblown and blowsy compared to the gentle Rose.

So do I! Not a bad episode lat night. I so wish Harry didn't invite Lord Loxley to the game, but glad he gave him his comeuppance in the poker game. Something tells me that he'll vent a revenge for it though.
The show has been recommissioned for a 3rd series.
Thanks for this. A little gem on Sunday nights. I love the fact that it just seemed to ease onto our screens with fairly little fuss and build up, yet it's well written and acted with gorgeous cinematograhy. Love it!
Great news - seems no one comments on a Sunday evening in here any more
Enjoyed tonight - and I wait for the baddies to get their comeupances very soon - and I even feel sorry for Lady L which last series I never thought I would.
Finding Mr Selfridge very dark and depressing now. Just read an interview with Jeremy piven, who rightly compares it to a Greek tragedy. The character of Delphine is ghastly; what a slime! And the hypocrisy of Mr Grove, who looks ready to give Miss McArdle trouble over her new-found closeness with Florian the gorgeous Belgian violinist.
i had wondered if all Florian was interested in was her money, but it looks as though there may be an emotional connection there. Still think that Miss McA will find some self-destructive way to lose her fortune . . .

Thanks for that. It does makes interesting reading.
Why is the lead actor so cheesy? He sounds like he's stepped straight from an episode of 80s camp-fest Dynasty...
I expect him to shout "Roll up, roll up" All the fun of the fair!
He reminds of the slightly younger version of the Dad in Modern Family (Ty Burrell). ;-)

Florian the Belgian for me. :D
Certainly starting to get a darker too with Mr S off to Germany and Henri arrested for spying. Will be fun to see how the next four episodes pan out.
