    That seems disrespectful to me.

I've ignored your posts for a while and held back from commenting as I doubt anything anyone says to you will improve your posting style due to the aloofness you appear to have in responding to others.

My dear, I doubt few are impressed with this recent incarnation, it is now becoming tedious and to target specific FM's is anachronistic now.... that was old school.

You are actually not too bad under one of your other FM names so my advice would be to stick with that, it's a *tad* more interesting.

And also remember, when you post under this username you have to have a good memory..... you never had a sister so don't keep pretending that your current OH used to be her partner.

One more thing... none of your retorts 'can touch me' , I have little interest in any attempts you may have to try and belittle me as you have done others. Please just stop trying to be silly it is unbecoming.

    Well said Joni !!!!!!!!
,Must admit i'm bloody rubbish at spotting Sock-Puppets or PBUs and their other names etc ,so no idea who else Danni is  but i have to say all the Bloody winks they were putting on the end of nearly every post was getting right on my bloody wick >:( so hopefully that'll stop now if nowt else :D

The thread got derailed and hey ho, there ya go.

TBF the OP is about a gay man wanting a male escort.

Same here - always have been unless they're the particularly thick ones.

Avoidance, denial or bullshittedness I wonder? :kitty:

Doesn't surprise me. There's been some agendas flying around recently. I remember when I used to argue constantly with a few feminist posters here, and there were some pretty good debates and arguments on both sides, but some people here just seem to be downright sexist now, and they aren't difficult to spot.

I already said I made no contribution.

I saw your insanely long post, quoting a dozen people, and I find that is usually a good time to decide to quit.

You take a step back and think 'what the hell am I doing, none of this will even mean anything tomorrow... who are these people?'

I know because I've been there...

    :kitty:

    Oh. I see.

Thanks - I'm grateful. As much as I feel pissed off that my current situation finds me spending time on forums, at least I know my contributions tend to discussing actual subject matter that might, just might, get others thinking about stuff, or at least have a conversation about something where I learn and think about stuff.

Sorry as I feel for myself sometimes, I feel marginally better knowing others spend their time entering threads they don't give a toss about just to tell people to 'go to bed' - so ta muchly :) I hope you find something that interests you.

I don't know who they are. But they've hacked me off a LOT in this thread. Stupid and unkind and smug and a right WUM.

Nice to see a bit of protective information from people that have understood it all.

    I rarely do, so thanks.:)

And to be fair, the title is 'Have you ever paid for sex?'... So it's not surprising the thread has developed into a prostitution debate.

Though I'd agree, the male prostitution aspect has gone by the wayside somewhat - quite a different industry and scene IMO.

Can you hold back a little and just employ a bit of brevity?cos when I have read your contributions they have been fab :) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Haha, well as much as I can feel the innate sarcasm running through this post, I still feel a duty of care to people online (patronising), who feel the need to get into pointless arguments for hours on end, only because I have been there myself and understand the perils.

I hope you find something that interests you too. Please don't say you are interested in whether or not other people choose, or do not choose to pay for sex :p Massive multi quoting arguments are not interest, they are just stubburness :D

I don't wanna make the thread about me - it's already been taken off topic way too much IMO! :D

But yes, I am shite at snappy concise posts. I am. I know  But to be fair, I think my long posts usually contain some info and discussion points as well as just guff - I hope

Anyway... I created a thread about that ;) If you get a spare 5 minutes maybe read one of my awfully long posts on this thread and let me know if it's 70% guff or not... DS is still a new beast for me! Kisses right back at ya.....

I just read one of your posts, and it isn't guff, you actually sound very intelligent. I just hope I don't get into an argument with you because that multi quote, mini essay stuff is my own personal nightmare :o This is so going to bite me in the arse now though because I've written a ton of long posts too :p

I don't know whether you're being sarcastic or not to be honest - but someone else brought intelligence up earlier in the thread, and given the topic it really bothers me

I'm no more intelligent than anybody else. I just have strong opinions and experiences on some stuff, and have been lucky enough to get an education that gave me this vocab.

I clearly come across like some educated archie git to some people  But what can I do? txt spk nt me tang innit ;)

I often think one-liner replies are rude, ill-thought, and pointless - but I don't think I've ever mentioned it... ya know ;) Horses for courses, nah?

Sorry to be a pedant, but it's just a random article with the highlights.... I tried to find the actual study, to no avail... So if you could find the academic link I'd be grateful....

    See what you mean now.
I remember when reading the article and thinking that they would provide a link to the actual study, but they didn't.
I'll see if I can find it.
I was praying that wouldn't be given free exposure :( Please be careful workers!

I've never actually used this site to arrange a punt, but have heard stories of it being risky from a customers point of view also, through various scams and cons. But, before you say it, I realise these risks are no comparison to those faced by workers.

    No, it wasn't sarcastic, clearly.

Why would intelligence bother you? Stop being an inverse snob :p

There is nothing wrong with intelligence. The fact people are ashamed of it, or that people make people feel ashamed of it, is one of the worst things about modern Britain if you ask me.

Also, it is possible you are more intelligent than average, some people are really stupid, innit? :D

And I never said you were an "educated archie git", I've no idea what that even means :D

Anyway, I'll stop derailing. Everyone get back to arguing about paying for sex, normal service has resumed :D

P.s: I realise I use a lot of smilies. I feel some of my posts would seem too acerbic without them, so I include them. If you don't like it, I don't care. Smilies make everything ok, look >>> :)

Phew! I can't tell you how relieved I am to get such a reasonable reply! I really did try to find it myself - the lead seems to be Dr Tracey Sagar but I can only find references to the Student Sex Work Project - which isn't completed yet, so I was a bit

I've never actually used this site to arrange a punt, but have heard stories of it being risky from a customers point of view also, through various scams and cons. But, before you say it, I realise these risks are no comparison to those faced by workers.

Really?! Given my, um, experience, I wish workers wouldn't chance it on that site - not worth the aggro IMO - so many timewasters and pervs! But I wouldn't be shocked I suppose to hear that some punters have been fleeced too :( You know my feelings, but as a punter I would recommend you stay loyal to your provider, get me ;)

To be fair, you've not read the thread and I've had the 'intelligence' thing thrown at me a few times - as if being able to type a large vocabulary (I actually thought mine was quite limited, but there you go!) excludes one from having experience or knowledge of certain things... it is inverse snobbery indeed!

I agree with you - but I'm also aware how it can be perceived. Like a posh voice is received where I volunteer, you know ;) like a fart in a lift.

Anyway, I wouldn't bother with the first 40ish pages - seriously - if you are gonna catch up on the topic ;) Keep smileying - I so get that!

What gets me is why people assume that there is NO KINDNESS anywhere.

And yet it's a sort of 'default setting' for a hell of a lot of the human species and it's been the most important force in our civilization.

What's kindness got to do with it? Did she have an earth shattering orgasm with a man old enough to be her father because she was being kind? Surely it's more likely that she pretended to have an earth shattering orgasm because she was being kind?
