I thought that guy was getting emotional seeing it all again. I wouldn't blame him either.

I preferred episode 1. It seemed like they were going more for drama with this episode.

I just liked seeing the day to day activities they showed on the first episode more.

I was wondering that.Seems as if it was meant to be on tonight's programme, knowing Americans they probably protested and it was dropped.
.You can see some footage on Daily mail Online.

ISS will be visible in the early morning on Saturday & Sunday (5am-ish) for those early birds wanting to get a view of it, with clear skies it should hopefully be visible to most in the UK.

Hubble is miles higher by some margin IIRC

100 miles higher up. It was some risk.

8hrs....that's some shift....no working time directive here

Not watched my recording yet, why would a 8 hour shift breach the WTD?

    Pee breaks
    **** breaks
    Drinks
Work at height without the correct ladder.

If it was the EVA then they do not need to stop for a pee break! Similarly for drinks.

Safety at Heights legislation comes under Health and Safety at Work acts, not WTD.

I made the original comment because many think WTD limits hours per day, it actually averages over a period and longer hours are permitted (up to a limit) are allowed. Not that I agree with it of course, mainly because the people who agreed to it do not stick to it themselves.

The only way they could smoke would be to do it in the airlock and then go back inside the station proper and let the smoke out.

"We have so much to cram in tonight!"

Have LESS adverts then as it seem that they are the only thing you are desperate to cram in!

haha I knew his face was familiar and 'fruit loops' made me realise he was in the big bang theory.

but wow, the views from the ISS of the earth are amazing. imagine circling the earth and seeing it going from dark to light.
