Possibly, but he manifests many symptoms of a sociopath to me. His recklessness with regard to his his own safety and the safety of others. Glib lies. His inability to form genuine loving relationships, and his over the top grief because he actually cannot really emote in the true sense of the word are all symptoms of a sociopath .
There are others.
It is my belief that from the evidence so far he displays all these symptoms. I know a little about it as I lived with someone similar, fortunately a knife was all that was available, thank god there was no gun.

Is it over-the-top? Given what he's done, both to his own life and to hers, I would say it was understandable. If he's reacting like this now imagine what it was like a year ago when he realised what had happened in the toilet? And people still think he couldn't have been the one screaming.
As I read it she could do nothing right. The way she spoke, the way she behaved, the way she chewed gum. Her accent. The way she behaved in public, the way she touched his neck etc etc etc.
It is starting to look like the text or call she got from her ex that night started the argument. Sounds like she was literally scared to death in her final moments on earth

What bearing has any drug use by her have on this trial? None.
Oh, plenty. The messages are being used by the prosecution as evidence against Pistorius. We know very little at the moment about the background/context of the incidents referred to in the messages, and drugs might be part of it (it was indicated as much in one of Pistorius's replies). It might help to give us a more balanced view of what was happening in the relationship.
The defence have had to tread very carefully with the Stipp couple.
They are not tainted by the bloody mindedness of the other earwitness couple.
Its a shame that they were not on the stand consecutively as it has been difficult to tie up their stories and easier for the defence to introduce doubt by playing one version off against the other.

Some of her messages read today are lengthy and give context, his equally lengthy apologetic replies acknowledge what she has said.
Until today I was of the belief that it was a tragic accident fuelled by unimagineable paranoia. The revelations in their messages that at least a component of their relationship was at best volatile tends me towards thinking otherwise although I'll remain amenable to being swayed either way.
This may change if the defense team bore me further with their fascination with bloody tie-backs.

I agree, but then if Pistorius didn't want to date anyone involved in illegal drugs then that was his choice. As a professional athlete the last thing he would've wanted was to be tainted with that sort of thing.
Yes because he'd never do anything illegal would he?
Anyway .. I imagine we all .. or at least most of us .. heartily wish that he had not dated Reeva or had given it up when she wasn't measuring up to his exacting .. double .. standards.
It makes me sick that he was nit-picking away at her and telling her how to behave. Being jealous of her mentioning any boyfriends when not only was he mentioning previous girlfriends all the time but he was watching porn whilst in her company. I wonder how he would have reacted if Reeva was watching porn? What would it matter if she was a stripper or a good time girl ... he liked them well enough didn't he? .. hypocrite >:(

I haven't really seen anyone judge her about her drug use per se. But I wouldn't be surprised if its used by some in order to look down on her and somehow justify Oscars texts.
There's almost a reaction that when you find out someone has taken drugs..... Mind you weed as a drug?! It's no where near as harmful as cigarettes and alcohol now is it.......you feel like that person is being judged, that somehow they cannot be a good person if they do that. It seems like people have just concentrated in the fact she took weed, whereas to me what I saw reading her texts, is that she was a very kind, patient, loving, emotional and vulnerable, selfless person.
I realised ive gone a bit off point lol. Like you said its not relevant. She's dead because of Oscar. Even he wasn't or had never taken weed or something more, it hardly makes him a good person because he pulled the trigger and she was terrified for her life. It's clear who is the baddie and it wasn't Reeva. Nothing on earth justifies that behaviour from him not the emotional abuse nor shooting her.

It's the sheer hypocracy . He speeds in cars, has illegal firearms and bullets, lies to the police , drinks and crashes his boat while well over the limit.
Reeva is not on trial here for her habits an behaviour, nor should it be even implied that she provoked him. I cannot think that the defence would stoop that lo.

Try seeing it from Pistorius's perspective. What if she baked some space cakes and he ate one before a doping test? I doubt he wanted anything to do with banned substances that might've affected his career.

Someone posted a link on this a while back. The ex denied it happened ...

Gimme a break Kapp! Do you seriously believe going by everything else she mentioned that pointed to his controlling behaviour, that it was anything different than just more controlling behaviour?
BTW quite frankly I don't wish to see anything from the point of view of such an irrational person as he appears to be.

What she has to at all times be aware of his requirements while he ignored hers? I think you are doing her a grave disservice here. There is nothing to indicate she would do that.

In what particular detail?
Sorry but he's not been found guilty yet, either by the court or by me, so yes I do feel sympathy towards him. It doesn't mean I condone what he did.
Just reviewing previous testimony to check first.

Yes better just to shoot her.
