I wish I could re check that myself where are u finidng it kapp...... yes that sounds a bit much surely.. I heard the evidence but just cant remember exactly now, it gets so confusing with these different people and times.. could u tell me where I can refresh on stipps evidence.. did they really hear scream for that long??
Yes, I watched it, woke at around three to bangs and screaming, massive screaming in and out until around 315 or so then man and woman screaming shots and screaming died away.
I haven't got a link handy. Kap, could you post that link you found so helpful? If I have to watch oldwage again, I'll have to have therapy.
Oscars black iPhone in bathroom on floor near gun is 4949 was not used and was OFF
Reevas white iPhone in bathroom on floor under towel is 5353
Oscars other iPhone is 0020 and used to make all the calls and was with him downstairs when Stipp and others arrived
Okay thanks that is what I wanted to know. Can we say if Reevas phone was on whilst she was in the toilet? If so it might be used by the defence to try to explain the light seen in the toilet.

oh thank you rhumba I must have watched at the time, but I am getting overload like all of us with all this!! Oh goodness Oldwage is your worst nightmare isn't he.... don't wish to sound rude, but it is his shocking attitude... truly unpleasant... he looked trouble when he started the face pulling on day one....
thank yo Kapp has posted a useful couple of links

All we know is that Reeva 5353 white iPhone was connected to the internet from 20:04:17 on the 13th and stayed connected for 11 hours with no other activity

yes, her bag, keys and toiletries must give a clue.... she had been doing yoga and been there since 76pm ish.. I would have thought she would have showered or something... did she have cosmetics out or packed...
Only Oscar has said she was doing yoga ! - another lie probably, - and she arrived at the house about 6 pm ish from that CCTV security didn't she ? or was it 6.30pm ? - and Osar arrived about 15 minutes after her - She would have been on her own in that house for a bit, did she find something that pointed to him having been communicating with another woman ? , his ipad had been used too - Free porn sites were accessed on the ipad about 6.30pm that night too - very early in the evening, isn't it to be looking at sites like that when you're girlfriend is coming over to cook and stay the night - ? or did Reeva use his ipad and find he'd been accessing those sites ? just saying.....

yes , the phone analyst confirmed that it would still emit signal/and usage if programmes were left open, like Facebook, and doesn't mean she was actually using it.
I wish there could a animation or something of what the prosecutions case has said so far. Like a re enactment, putting it all together. From all the witnesses and what they heard to what it seems like happened in the bathroom.
OH thanks so much, I will l go off and read that ;-):kitty:
It's fascinating, macabre stuff. I know it's not full transcripts as such but it's so much better than having to sit through hours and hours of back and forward arguing, translation, intermissions, etc. and it's a good way of refreshing your memory. Most of the relevant detail is there along with a load of important images of the crime scene and bits of evidence. Everything is explained really well. I'm just reading about the bullet trajectories and it's actually making sense. It must take hours and hours to write these reports for each day and to prepare the images.

You are absolutely right, we don't know if she used the internet only that the phone stayed connected to the internet
She may or she may not have used Whatsapp during that time…. we don't know…but Nel and Roux know because they have the application data download
You see, this is what I was saying about Oscar not giving the correct number for the phone - and suspicious the other phone was handed in much much later, after the Bail Hearing ---- so obvious there was some tampering going on there : This is taken from Phone Analysts testimony :
With the sim cards out, there is no exact way to determine the phone numbers for the devices. So he started with the device that was marked as Oscar’s device, went in to his last contacts on the phone, and established the number for Reeva. He then did the same to establish Oscar’s number, by looking at Reeva’s phone. He was under the impression that Oscar had only one phone.
He then applied for data records from the network service providers based on the phone numbers that had been allocated for each phone, per above. From this, he was able to establish that the number he believed was for Oscar’s device was in fact not the right number. This device that was seized at the scene and marked as Oscar’s actually had a different phone number.
Meaning… there was another phone out there that Oscar was using (that Reeva had recently called) that had not been seized at the scene. That phone was later turned in to the police by the Defense on February 26, 2013, after Oscar’s bail hearing.
You might be angry that nothing is said of Mrs Stipp seeing light in the toilet though, a strange thing for the wordpress blogger to omit.
From Juror13 Mr Stipps evidence: "He looked at Oscar’s house and just the bathroom light was on."
Juror13 missed the significance of this as well. When you say the light was not on everyone assumes the room is dark.
It is so easy to miss even though they went on about it so much. Another reason why I think the defence did the switcheRoux so we had all forgotten about Roux 1 having a go at Mr Stipp by the time we got to Roux 2 and the missus.

It's easier a lot of the time to see it in print and with the salient points.

But Oscar left the house under arrest with the 0020 phone or Johan Stander left with it or some else close to Oscar

It gets deliberately obscured by boring argument and without the understanding of it's importance flagged up.
This has happened a lot, I think. People lose patience and dismiss, instead of seriously listening and thinking 'why is he going on about this'?

So on but not used?
Reeva's phone was ON and connected to internet (GPRS) for 11 hours
We don't know if she used Tweeter, Whatsapp, Facebook, etc…
But no text messages and no voice calls
Thanks for the links. Must go and look now!

Pity that phone was on because it would have been a slam dunk for the prosecution.
Most state of the art security systems have panic buttons located somewhere.
I just checked it. They missed it. But its all there on youtube
I still have high hopes for it as long as that phone isn't bright enough

OK…so NO evidence about a panic button… just speculation
My alarm system has a "panic function": I have to go to the keypad and press "star" and "pound" together (i.e. * + #)

The whole phone thing absolutely STINKS to high heaven. They took the phone, they kept the phone, then OP couldn't remember how to get into the phone.
That really pisses me off. Definitely hiding and tampering and delaying, and that doesn't point to innocence.
All this stuff, all of it, absolutely REEKS of lie and cover up.
