Will you all be watching the boat race? It's on BBC1 in 20 minutes. :)

What's the weather doing down in London?

    The world's dullest sports event.

    Unless someone sinks.

You have to love how the BBC big this up into one of the greatest events in the sporting calendar, only because it's one of the very few sports they have the rights to. lol

I might take an axe to myself if I've got to listen to them waffling for an hour and half before it actually starts...

They have a countdown clock, 74 minutes to race start. How will they fill that time?

After all this build up with boring people they both sink. That would be nice.

A lot of it is preamble, like at the beginning of a live F1 race, plus post amble after the race.

Putney to Mortlake certainly doesn't take 2 hours to row at this level.

    I am watching it.

It's typical of the BBC to simper over this sort of thing. It's a school sports day that has got out of hand.
