Medicines you remember from childhood

We were discussing, as you do, medicines we had as children that are no longer available (or are they?).
We came up with Virol malt extract, Haliborange little orange vitamin pills, junior aspirin (pink), Delrosa Rosehip Syrup and a variety of tonics and drinks to 'build you up' such as Bengers.
Any others you remember?

That Rosehip Syrup was delicious ........:)
Castor Oil - Even worse Yuch!
I think the banana one was just how antibiotics are/ were made up for children to encourage them to take it?
All I remb from childhood is Vicks vapour rub, i loved the smell of it.
I think that with the exception of Junior Aspirin, most everything else on the list is still available; most in original form, others under different brand names.
I also remember having this awful medicine spooned into my mouth! It is the reason that, to this day, I wretch at the taste of anything banana flavoured. Real ones are ok, but anything flavoured like them just makes me want to throw up lol
Woodwards gripe water, it had alcohol in it
Mind you, if we had a dose of flu in those days Dad would treat it with a sugary, weak whisky punch that sent us straight to sleep. We'd wake up feeling great.
I remember the same! The 6+ was the horrible white one, right? I wanted to go back to the pink!
