EE-18/4/2014- Not-So-Good Friday for Juicy Lucy
This is it. The day which we have been waiting for for so long has finally arrived.
Libby Fox returns tonight
Oh, and Lucy dies.
Am really looking forward to the storyline, sounds really promising- and the Beale scenes next week look brilliant
My initial first thought was that Sharon would be the culprit, paving the way for the Beales and Wattses to take center stage on 30th anniversay. The entire cast are suspect so could be anyone... Damien Denny is easily capable of such a crime I think
So what exactly happens tomorrow?

Lucy Beale
As a major Beale fan, one thing that does annoy me about this story is cutting down the Beale family which I think will prove detrimental to the family in years to come. Although Peter is still there to carry on the family, Ben has already said he doesn't plan to be there full time whereas I think Hetti would have done so. I like the fact that the Beales are getting a big story but hopefully won't damage them in the future.
Lucy is actually one of my favourite teens and I have enjoyed watching her under Hetti- prefer this version to Mel Suffield's Lucy. I think Hetti can portray Lucy as callous as needed but also brings some warmth to the character when needed. Lucy was imo the more interesting Beale twin with so much potential for big stories. I did think the character was a bit weak under BK but since the family has been rejuvinated, I think she has got more balls- yet also been able to show her sensitive side. Lucy loves Ian and values his opinion, the fact that he hasn't shown any interest in her business other than for his publicity shoot shows why she behaves the way she does. She's a daddy's girl- no matter how much she may worship Cindy, I know how much she loves Ian and will try to impress him.
Lucy's Machiavellian traits have always intrigued me: from wrecking her dad's relationship with Mandy, to callously splitting up Joey and Lauren and especially now, where she has seemed to go down a darker route... I really wish Lucy was still around. Hopefully, the storyline will work out well though and do the anniversary justice.

esp Phil hugging a crying Ian. Wish Sharon had hung around though>:(
The Beales are going to shine and with Jane hanging around, I can't wait to see all their scenes together. But let's figure out what actually happens to Lucy? Will it be Peter in the kitchen with a bag of carrots? Ian in the cafe with a hot chip fan? Or Ronnie in the Arches with a car boot lid;-) Either way, should be a brilliant story and the revelation tonight of Lucy's jewellery box does ask more questions about Lucy and I am looking forward to what other secrets we discover... and we find out more about other characters. My initial first thought was that Sharon would be the culprit, paving the way for the Beales and Wattses to take center stage on 30th anniversay. The entire cast are suspect so could be anyone... Damien Denny is easily capable of such a crime I think

Ian is worried as Lucy didn't come home last night, and he confides in Jane about his fears. At the same time, Lucy and Lee wake up at the restaurant after spending the night together. They're soon discovered by Ian, Fatboy and Jane but they make a run for it.
Later, Ian and Lucy have a heart-to-heart and he tells her that she is the child he is most proud of. Unfortunately, Peter overhears this and storms out of the house. Lucy is also upset and has some harsh words for Ian before she follows Peter.
Lucy looks for Peter but ends up bumping into Max, who offers to take her to a hotel. As Lucy is about to head into the housewarming party at Number 27, she receives an email and heads off alone. Not long afterwards, Lucy's lifeless body is left on Walford Common…
Meanwhile, as the pool competition gets under way at The Vic, Whitney arrives all dressed up in the hope of impressing Lee. Unfortunately, Lee is nowhere to be seen and Whitney runs away when Lauren informs her that Lucy and Lee spent the night together.
Elsewhere, Denise visits Libby in Oxford alone, as Ian has cancelled to deal with his family problems. She can't hide her true feelings and decides to end things with Ian. As Denise arrives home, Ian is nowhere to be found and she removes her engagement ring.
Also today, Jane prioritises the Beales over Masood, putting their trip off until another time.

Can't wait to see what happens!
And yep Beale till i die
RIP Lucy, I'm going to miss you. I'm one of the few who prefered Hetti's version, sad times
Great character names, as per
Same here, Hetti was better imo.
Heres to hoping Hetti will get other roles soon!
Yeh a fellow Hetti fan I probably wouldn't have minded so much if they had used her more. She has proven with good material she is a good actress. Wish Hetti luck for the future.
Also, was confused for a sec that it said Lucy died half through, I was like "Surely that would be the cliff hanger?!" I know it is now though 'cause of the cast list.
Lucy
Agreed, Hetti is in my eyes Lucy Beale- much enjoyed her version
:D
I forgot to include my caption in the thread (I usually do) but it was also something along those lines:p
While i wish no Beale would have left, I would have kept Lucy over Peter as well
I thought that too, so thought I'd better put the thread up early
BIB: Well first time for everything;-):D
Hehe:D:D
