Says Nigel Farage, but apparently it's ok if it's his German wife.

But that is different well because er you see it's like this

    Next question please.

One thing I found funny is a few days ago Nick Griffin had a go at him and it appeared they were arguing that they were the most racist

Nick Griffin basically said that the UKIP were just not racist enough

This is a bit late coming isn't it? I will never vote UKIP but at least we should keep up with the times.

That seems quite similar to the same word without the Eu on the front of it. But you're out and proud. Jolly good.

Farrage is not against people from Europe, it's the mass unlimited immigration from Eastern Europe that's the problem.

    Eee-yuh-ra-kist gets my vote.

I do wonder though whether some religious type might have just misspelt eucharist :D

I'd like to see a serious reduction to unskilled jobs being advertised outside the UK. We need to address the issue of unemployment in the UK and the unskilled jobs should go to those resident here already.

Presumably he's also happy for our businesses to be forced to pay more for expensive home-grown labour while our European neighbours benefit from cheap labour. I also wonder if he expects the French to keep putting time and resources into maintaining a prison camp for wannabe immigrants if we leave the EU. I'm betting they'll just open the gates and wish them a bon voyage across the channel.

Its people from Eastern Europe that have arrived in large numbers. They have been encouraged to come here to work, which isn't their fault - who wouldn't want a better life?, and if they don't have a better life they why bother leaving the home country.

I don't see factories full of people from Spain or France or Germany.

I can see the point that is being got at by UKIP. We have more unemployed than we have jobs for, yet there are job agencies going on recruitment drives to Lithuania etc. There was a standing joke at a place where my husband used to work, that when the manager went on a visit to Poland she was going on a busmans holiday because while in Poland she was recruiting more people for the workforce in the UK. How is that fair to the people of all nationalities who are out of work resident in the UK.

Of course it's not fair, but be careful you are starting to sound like a euracist :D

Nigel Farage is right but he should have said since 2004 when Poland and other poor eastern european countries joined the EU they were given the right of the free movement of people .So they had the option to work and live in any other EU member state .So Poland £1.50 ? an hour or UK £6 ? an hour thats why they come to the Uk .The fact is things will never change , David Cameron cannot do a thing about it as long as UK is a EU member .Also UK has always had a trickle of Germans like Germany has always had a trickle of British and thats never been an issue. The big debate at the moment is about the influx of eastern europeans .
