Doubt it. I know a few BBC Local presenters are taking the opportunity to present shows on their respective new local TV stations, Frances Finn from BBC Nottingham for example.
The freeview 722 slot takes the 95.6fm feed rather than one of their two DAB feeds. Yesterday on freeview they had the villa commentary which was FM only.
How far away can BBC WM be heard on freeview 722 and do their football rights allow them to broadcast local football commentaries over such a large area?
He is ill and was going to be back on this monday but on the website Jonny Palmer is still down to sit in for him. I am Guessing he will be back after the mayday bank Holiday.

I think it's a steady roll out over the next few months... each region's stations will be broadcast regionally on that region's BBC mux.
So presumably channel numbers will/can be duplicated between regions. I'm not sure why London and WM are on different numbers... but I can't imagine 40 channel numbers will be assigned (will they?)
Intriuging to notice, while WM's online schedule is still listing 'Michelle Dawes' as the presenter of Sunday Breakfast, the Radio Times has listed her, for the 2nd week running as 'Michelle Knight', her maiden name.
(To my knowledge, she's been married for at least 3 years!)

Unless there's something we don't know?
she has a kid and went away when she was doing the early Saturday show
How long exactly has Network Gold with John Platt been running?
I remember hearing it in the car coming back from a match with my dad, when I was a kid.
And I'm pushing 40 now.

Mid to late 80's at a guess. It has celabrated anniversaries.
Might actually get a decent run for a few weeks now, now that the footy's finished, apart from the 3 weeks Plattie takes off for Wimbledon.
(Think Bev Bevan did those weeks last year. In previous years, it's been Tony Gilham with Gilham Gold!)
The Radio Academy Awards 2night with Pete Morgan up for an award and the BBC WM team for "The Voices of Birmingham and the Black Country" you can listen here http://radiotodaylive.com/.
I wander if Pete will be doing Breakfast on Tuesday.

So far only reports of BBC Radio London on 721 from CP and relays
I was in Brum this morning, so I could have actually gone to the Mailbox to watch him doing the show.
But I didn't.

I knew that, but I'm just assuming it's an RT cock up, rather than 'something else'.
I wander what type of show Lizzie will do because the show that was in that slot last year was the type of show Keith Middleton does now.

Thanks for this Westy. Sad to hear Daz suffered a mini stroke, I heard him talking about it on Pete Morgan's show in the week. Glad he's back at work.
