After a week of hardcore UKIP attacks and the invention of the word euracist, UKIP are going from strength to strength.

UKIP 38% LAB 27% CON 18% LD 8%
Can't wait to see how Labour and the Tories challenge UKIP in Europe now.
How dare you speak of the ex-President of the Oxford University Conservative Association like that!
both leaders will regret basically allowing Clegg to set the score on EU.
He stood there and people totally blanked him.
Can UKIP win the Newark by election ? With Nigel Farage as their candidate ?
Is the people's army marching to Newark ?
Yeah couldn't quiet understand Nick's point with that because surely the question the UKIP voters answered is the same question the Labour and Conservative people answered too?
Assuming 100% of Conservative voters favour withdrawal from the EU, then together with UKIP, only 54% are anti EU. Nowhere near 100% of Tories will favour withdrawal.
What that says to me if we did have a referendum, we'd be staying in.
While it is slightly higher than before, it is still very dismal in Western Europe...
The true Left has always wanted out of the EEC/EU, remember.
Only supporters of the club for Big Business wants "in".
You're not suggesting a 100% of Labour voters are in favour of the EU are you ?
No, Robinson was just putting the polls figures into context as to understand the results you have to know what the question was.
but will 100% of Labour supporters want to stay in? or the other 9% such as the Green Party and the BNP?
I'd say the vast majority of those who haven't already been teased over by UKIP are, yes.
Now............

The thing about the whole EU debate - is it a question of a larger market for British Goods (or even Goods made in Britain) or the EU as it currently is.
Because as a relatively small island we still need the EU market, but the EU as it currently is constituted with a central currency and a steadily increasing centralisation. Probably not.
With UKIP it would seem they would throw out the first, in order to deal with the second and that is no help to anyone.
In both polls, Labour lost 3 points. While this doesn't mean anti-eu in the slightest it is showing people either want a referendum, voting against the mainstream or just moving to UKIP.
Polling does suggest a slight lead for staying in Europe regardless.
Over the proverbial cliff edge when they find out the Farage mirage can't deliver.
Never mind, the British National Party will provide you with a red white and blue parachute.
Yes
Clegg thought a Rerun of 2010 would be enough people wont fall for the numbers Game again and don't believe a word he says. Standing there berating Farage then boring the pants off everyone with endless numbers totally failed.
What was the question ?
I would have thought it was, "'who are you going to vote for ?"
That is the question, followed by how likely are you to vote.
By the time the elections get here, we'll see the tories in the late teens and labour in the low 20's. Only the LDs vote improved of the main 3...
