and PLEASE do not suggest inflicting that sour faced girl and her new baby on them. Sally has done her share of child rearing and she deserves a bit of peace and quiet, and a happy life with Tim.
I think the writers and Stuart Blackburn read these forums and when there's something like this they think
' Oh so they don't want SAlly and Tim to be parted!?....Right then! how can we get them to part?!'

Sally and Tim are one of the few things that Blackburn has got right in the last two years. The actors have a natural and believable chemistry with one another.
If Corrie break up Sally and Tim, it will be the worst thing they have ever done to CS. This couple have it all, sexual chemistry, comedy gold, his perpetual "I don't understand women" look, and her snooty smugness - total opposites socially.
Destroy these two at your peril CS, you have an absolute winner here, in fact, just now the only winner.

They had their time. Tim and Sally are refreshing and they work very well, unlike 99% of the couples the writers decide to put together.
I find that not only do Tim and Sally work brilliantly together - I do like the impact that the relationship has had on Kev - the scenes with him and Tim are really funny too.
Tim and Sally do make a great couple...but I think that now Tim has become a Grandfather and with things being quite stressful..we may see a more serious side to him....he obviously adores the baby and Sally can be quite jealous at times..it could put a little stress on their relationship...

They are a great pair, funny and believable together.
I think Nick and Carla make sense as a couple, actually! Both witty, both successful, both with sophisticated tastes. And they look right. I liked her with Peter but that was all fire.
I doubt it will happen as Steve Blackburn does not seem to want to do anything that will improve the show but if he has any sense he would split Sally/Tim up and pair Tim with Anna, they are more suited and would make a great family unit who could be built up to be one of the core families of the show.
