    All the hype about Greece and they finish 20th, even dear Elaiza beat them. :D

    If any country is going to withdraw it would be Russia. I wonder how the booing was handled by the broadcaster. If you're a proud Russian watching that, you wouldn't want your country to take part again.

    A relative (or step-relative) has just reported the picture I shared of Conchita on Facebook. I got the "This is offensive to me, please consider removing it" message in a PM >:-/

    I am really angry with this result - hate this year now and it has been pleasant up until now - really lost a lot of love for this contest. Not sure I can take another year of this. Basically for certain countries the running order makes no difference, yet it does to others, having an old fashioned song hurts some countries but if the performer is a drag act and gay friendly not so much so for others. Next year we will have a dirge of C&W and old bond themes. So sad. I hated all of the top songs. would rather Hungary or Romania had won.

    Too sad and disappointed to post any more - not to mention thoroughly f*cked off. Wish I had never voted for Austria now in the Semi because the vote was to get her to the final not because I liked the song. Oh and don't get me started on the Scandinavian and Eastern block and the fact that I said we were stuffed when Denmark tv gave us last position - writing was on the cards then. If the songs for ours and Sweden's was reversed, they would never have been singing last or have had the same positioning in the scoreboard.

    All that effort and Europe declaring their love for our entry and then only 2 places higher than Bonnie - why should we bother next year? Hate Eurovision right now and at one point I thought San Marino was going to do better

    But Lena won in 2010, and she did not preform in a semi, maybe the strategy is to get the song known more in Europe before the contest, Jade did do porno in Europe beforehand in 2009, thought the UK did have a gimmick in the form of Lord Webber.

    Bingo!! But I don't remember the porno!!! :o

    Highest big 5 was Spain (10th) I do feel the lack of semi performance hampers our chances. I think it's time we get rid of automatic qualifiers, aside from the previous winning country.

    I agree.

    Germany and France for certain wouldn't have got through to the final in my opinion with their songs.

    Why should the big 5 be favoured?

    That Russian booing was disgraceful, and I'm the most vehemently anti-Russian (politically) guy you can find!

    May I start the first hashtag of the 2015 season... #Olga&Ligo4Vienna2015.

    Also worth nothing that Austria won after performing 11th. Good to shake up things and get another winner from the first half for future statistics. Actually 3 of the Top 5 were in the first half. :)

    I'm with you. If I'm honest, I think the Danish broadcasters put us last on purpose, like they knew it was the best position to screw us over in. Random draw please.

    Don't get me started on the juries... >:(>:(>:(

    http://www.eurovision.tv/page/results?event=1893&voter=AM

    Armenia's rank for Austria
    Jury = 24
    Televote = 2
    Points = 0

    Same with Azerbaijan too
    Jury = 24
    Televote = 3
    Points = 1

    So ridiculous

    Gosh, I am the bang opposite!

    I'm even more in love with the contest after seeing perennial undergogs Austria and Netherlands come out on top. There isn't a conspiracy aganst the UK, really, at all, tonight just wasn't our night.

    If the BBC don't bother next year, so be it. I'll still avidly watch! I'm sure the Dutch and the Austrians felt like this at some point in the last decade- and look at where they are now!

    UK iTunes Top 40:
    #9 Netherlands
    #18 UK
    #25 Austria
    #29 Denmark
    #35 Sweden

    Good year for Eurovision, CATS may actually get into the official Top 10!

    Some of the jury voting really seems very dodgy. Sour taste in mouth.

    No doubt nothing will be done about it.

    I think esctracker is a very reliable source then! It really did tie into the results!

    So we can analyse that to our Hearts content next year ahaha

    Now that the contest is over, it is a good indication on which songs have actual staying power.
