All some people want to do is get him off TV, very simple if you do not like him, do not watch him. I do not like soaps but do not try to get rid of them!
I ama fan of Top Gear, worth the licence fee alone as far as I am concerned.
So time to right to the BBC complaining about his treatment, also demand the sacking of Danny Cohen.
Also I suggest you complain to the chair of the Labour party about Harriet Dromey as she should not be going around demanding the sacking of TV presenters. I think it is more political as JC is a friend of David Cameron.
As to the Mirror, why are they trying to do this, I think it is time to have a go back. Make sure noone you know buys its. Is this related to the fights between Clarkson and Piers Moron?

I don't understand why anyone feels the need to defend him though. He's not exactly an oppressed minority.
Perhaps people like watching Top Gear and want it to continue?
And I originally came into this thread to ask if an anti-Clarkson produced gravitons...
So you don't like Cohen and want to get rid of him? OK.
Top Gear/Clarkson is a programme you either love or hate.
If you don't like it or him then don't watch it. Simples
The way the BBC is going with it's climate of fear of causing offence there won't be anything worth watching soon.
That said, I'm not gonna call for his firing. I'll just carry on not watching his stuff.
dont you understand like all religions they try to crush any that dont believe in theyre doctrine
the church used to do this and used all the same tactics
but have now fallen by the wayside
This is the thing it's not minor at all. A person in his position saying such a thing is highly flammable and degrading to all black people. I think he should be removed from all public broadcasting for good.
Simples isn't baby speak it's media speak derived from the advert containing meetcats. Trends etc.
Unless he gets done for murder or being a kiddy fiddler, his job is safe.
They know it and he knows it.
According to my black friends, they do not find what he said degrading at all as they have taken it in context, and with a pinch of salt. They also feel they would be very hypocritical to condemn him as it is a word they call each other. We had quite a heated debate about it and the general consensus was that the PC brigade should sod off and stop telling us what to think, feel and say. Some people are all to easily offended nowadays, be it due to a perceived slur on race, religion, gender etc. We are ALL going to be offended by something at some point...get over it and move on!
If that is what you wish to think then feel free. I have no reason to lie to a bunch of strangers. What would be the point? Believe what you want to believe. I know I'm telling the truth and I'm sure those less cynical and judgemental than you will also take it at face value. What a horrid place you must live in, if all you see lies where there are none and where you feel the need to be rude to others. Have a good afternoon.
Belay that. I have just remembered that all that shit is allowed in the upper echelons of society.
I don't like the man, I find him irritating, and as I can't afford to run a car, I've no interest in his motoring programmes.
However neither of us are writing to the BBC demanding he gets sacked. He's had his final written warning now, so he needs to behave.
I'm sorry to have annoyed you.
Perhaps if I had mumbled it or put "*" marks in there , it would have been less rude
I know we've had our differences, but sometimes you're ace. Just sometimes, mind.
Not sure but he has form for these offensive racial utterances so I do wonder why they're still in his vocabulary when they've been consigned to dustbin where they belong by most.
What I think is that as someone with a job, a salary and a profile as huge as his is, you'd have thought he'd have learned by now to moderate his language when someone has a camera pointed at him.
Oaf.
PS - it's not 'Politically Correct' to choose NOT to use language you know is offensive to other people.....it's called being a decent human being.
