I heard Haba, Haba play in a hostel in the middle of nowhere in Singida, Tanzania in 2012.
I know she has Kenyan roots, and it was probably a Kenyan radio station but it completely caught me off guard and I stood in shock for the whole 3 minutes.

Lol that video freeze of Aram mp3 onthe ESC news section is hilarious. He looks like a groveling 14 year old on the carpet for going behind the school bike sheds for a crafty ****. lmao
Following on from Ken Bruce playing Rainmaker (again) this morning, Steve Wright played The Alison's "Are You Sure" this afternoon!
I heard Cascada Glorious the day before the contest last year in the Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow, which caught me off guard, especially since it was before the contest. Heard Lena around a bit in 2010 in various high street shops.
I think Conchita is shrewd sensible, well savvy person in the way she comes across and will be able to see through any iffy reason, that said this is one of her idols and I can't see her turning this down. Umm first date she may open for Gaga, Istanbul. Wonder how she will go down there.
Unlike Loreen, Conchita is very proactive and will, I'm very sure, carve herself out a lucrative international career on the basis of her drive and ethic. Wishing her all the best.
Going back to the weirdest places you've heard Eurovision songs, I heard Fairytale in a cafe on holiday in Malta a few years ago and what made it even better is that when I found myself humming a long, somebody started singing.

So you didn't dance?
I was so gutted when it didn't qualify.
Me too, it was my favourite that year!
Sweden confirm their participation as well. http://esctoday.com/83858/sweden-svt-confirms-participation-eurovision-2015/
Link confirming Iceland's entry in 2015 http://esctoday.com/83943/iceland-ruv-confirms-participation-eurovision-2015/
Denmark have also confirmed their participation but I cant get the link to work.
All Scandinavian countries will therefore be definitely taking part next year.
Only Armenia and Hungary( through really that's central Europe) from eastern Europe have confirmed their participation.

Thrilled for her. ;-);-);-);-)
I hope it's for the right (artistic) reasons and not because she wants something 'weird/shocking/sensational' for the show:o
That's amazing (assuming it's true) I'm incredibly pleased for Conchita!
That'd be amazing if it happened!
Split jury-televote semi final qualifiers. Lithuania was doomed at 11 for both
#WhyImVotingUkip cos @ConchitaWurst wasn't standing for election so I thought I'd go for the second best
Lots of interesting points made regarding the draw!
LO, jeez I'd sure vote for her:D
I agree but she loves gaga and id do it if it was my idol , she will be a superstar anyway:D
