Gutted i missed C2C the other week, the line up was insane!
Brad Paisley and The Zac Brown Band - Awesome.... bet you all had a right blast.
One of my favourite artists on the line up, is Jessica Clemmon's. She is fairly new to the UK country music scene but 'my old my' she is taking it by storm...
Her first single 'Single Tonight' was a big success and Chris Evan's amongst others from BBC2 enjoyed spinning it on his morning shows.
I've fallen in love with Valerie June, kinda bluesy country...she has a real cool voice, perfect for country, Taylor Swift wishes she could perform country music as well.
Bought Little Big Town's 'Tornado' album yesterday and it is just wonderful. There's not a single weak track on the album but if I had to pick just one track it would be 'Sober'

Love Little Big Town. Was listening to them on my way to work this morning
I saw Kacey Musgraves in London a couple of weeks ago and she didn't disappoint. She also has a fantastic band.
Miranda Lambert's music has been on repeat of late. Her new album is brilliant. I'd very much like to see her live at some point if she ever tours the UK. I'm not sure how big of a fan base she has in the UK.

I've been listening to Little Big Town a lot lately. They're very good.
Listening to the "Tornado" album by Little Big Town. "Night Owl" is beautiful. It sounds Christmassy, though there is no reference to Christmas in the song.
It's a very good album. I'll be adding it to my collection soon.
On a separate note: Has anybody heard Jamie Lynn Spears' music? She is (as some of you may already know) Britney's younger sister.
I was listening to her EP on Spotify last night and I don't think that it's too bad. She started writing shortly after her daughter was born about 4 years ago. To my knowledge I don't think that she plays an instrument but I think that she has a better voice than her older sister.
Thanks! They are definitely on the 'poppier' side of country/pop but they have a few songs I love. And the opportunity to see them at such a small venue (900ish capacity) is definitely a one off. (And the fact that the venue is a 5 minute bus ride from my house doesn't hurt!)
I've got tickets for the 2015 Country 2 Country festival (at the O2) that I bought ages ago and I'm looking forward to seeing what the line up is. I'm expecting that there will be an announcement shortly after the Brooklyn Bowl concert that Lady A will be performing on one of the two days so it seems I'll be seeing them again.
Loving Country Music at the mo. Watching Nashville got me started. Bit of a mix listening to Sara Evans, Martina Mcbride, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, The Band Perry, Eric Church

We played some country music at the radio station last night.
Some the old ones are the best.

However more recently she has released her follow up single 'Love Like That'

Would be interested to see what you country heads thought of the track and if you prefer it over Single Tonight?
If you want more info about the track, i found a nice write up for y'all! : -

On a side note, is anyone going to CMA Fest this year?

Her show at the Apollo last year was excellent.
Yes I saw that. I'm seeing her in London at the beginning of July. I'm very much looking forward to it.
Miranda Lambert's new album comes out on Monday.. I'm looking forward to adding it to my collection. I'd love a UK tour.

4 time Grammy award winners The Civil Wars announce permanent split
Saddened though not entirely shocked to hear this.
Things didn't look good for them, but I hoped they would get back together and sort out their differences.
Interesting!

I was pleasantly surprised.
Shotgun Wedding
How Could I Want More
Thoughts?
Does she have one more album in her contract or something? This is usually the reason for Greatest Hits albums so earlier in one's career.
Got my tickets and can't wait!!
I've never really listened to Lady Antebellum.
Enjoy the show.
