    No One Lives (2012) - 6/10

A couple on the road encounters a family of criminals. Interesting and occasionally darkly funny take on the damsel in distress trope. Shame about the disjointed narrative and some dialogue, and some death scenes are a bit much. Then again, it is a Ryuhei Kitamura film. Those issues can be found in his earlier films - Versus, Aragami, Longinus and Midnight Meat Train.

    The Croods - 8/10

I've seen it before but it's one of those movies that gets better with every viewing.

Really likeable characters that make you laugh and cry and some of the best animation I've ever seen.
In 3D, some of the scenes are really quite stunning.

    Alien 3

138 minute version. I'd only seen the theatrical version before, at the cinema in 1992. Thought it was really poor. A massive disappointment. Got the film as part of the Blu-ray anthology, and finally decided to give the longer version a go. I don't like it any better. I just think it's rubbish. Never again!

    8/10

    Bitter tale about movie-making.

    Darkman (1990) 8/10.

I saw this movie on Sky back in 1992, and it's a favourite of mine. The fairground scene in particular!

Godzilla (2014) - A mixed first hour isn't enough to derail this film. The final really is spectacular.

    7/10

I love Sam Raimi's filming style.

imo it is totally unique and he was the perfect choice to direct Spider-man.

The Railway Man - Harrowing subject matter of brutality and torture, it is done quite thoughtfully in parts. I was suitably gripped with what was going to happen with the two characters meeting up years later. 9/10.

    Haywire

Laudibly basic but still messily-shot action/spy thriller. Corrupt Boss, double cross etc. Why do acclaimed directors often make such a hash of genre material? Lord knows, but Gina Carano - easily the best thing here - certainly deserved better. Also stars turkey-magnet Ewan McGregor and his terrible haircut. 4/10

Come Out and Play - 0/10

Quite possibly the most pointless film I've ever seen. There's nothing to it at all.

Do you know that is actually a remake of Who Can Kill a Child? (1976)! I heard it's was scene from scene remake, I have not see either!

    Student Bodies (1981)

I saw this the other night, I really enjoyed, I think I did try to watch it one before, few years back, when it on you tube.

I loved the way it started with the meowing dog, and theb the mum screaming at dishing and the TV..

I found most of the jokes really funny made me laugh out loud, some jokes seem a little fall flat, no many!

I enjoyed most of the movie, I wasn't big fan of twist at the end, I really hate it when movies do the that.

I did enjoy the very last scene from movie, which was spoof Carrie

    A Fun movie 7 out of 10

Pacific Rim - Predicatable and stereotypical

The World's End - SOTD with more drinking

Hangover III - Pale imitation of the first. Not really funny.

As far as my opinion goes, PACIFIC RIM was disappointing but certainly not a terrible film (although there was this one particularly bad actor in it :D ). I enjoyed it and It's a great idea for a film - but it should have been far better and more spectacular than what we got. I definitely felt let down afterward but at the same time, it's a fun, over the top movie. Would I watch it again? Sure.

There is a sequel on the way because it did huge business in Asia - particularly China. But the sequel will have a much smaller budget.
