When did you, if you have, first see your partner use the toilet?

I've just got back from a short trip with my boyfriend. I've been with him now 18 months and I noticed how relaxed we were using the toilet (for a pee only) in front of each other. I can't remember when we first did it, I think it was probably after afew months together but with our holiday and the toilet joining on from the bedroom it was just easier to leave the toilet door open to carry on talking. Is this the norm amongst other couples?

I think that is quite romantic.

If you truly love someone then it really shouldn't matter.

I've taken a piss whilst my mate is in the bath. It's no big deal.

I hope your piss wasn't in the bath, with your mate sat in it.

Ew no. Me and my lovely wife have been together since 1980, but the thought of either of us peeing (or worse) in front of the other is a big no-no. Does this mean I don't love her?

    Thanks for sharing...
Off topic.. I usually leave a thread the minute somebody mentions hard hats and popcorn, agreed it has to be the most annoying phrase on here

Well, that's one way to warm up the water. ;-)

I like my privacy in the bathroom, so no, we don't watch each other pee. My husband came into the bathroom once while I was showering because he needed to pee really bad, but I didn't watch or anything. Didn't bother me. The thing is we have 2 kids so it's pretty rare that the door isn't locked when someone's using the toilet/shower.

What about the unspoken fact that bathrooms are not soundproof?

What do you HEAR of your partners activities? :p:o

I can't imagine it's the most romantic thing in the world if the love of your life has a dicky tummy and the sounds eminating from the khazi are somewhat reminiscent of a minor earthquake .. :o

Everyone should own a battery-operated radio for the bathroom in such cases. :D

Can't answer for him but he will never see or hear me do a poo, I would make sure he's out first or just go to my sisters

It means that you are unromantic, according to some. See post 5.

I am suddenly reminded of the old advert "I want to do a poo at Paul's house!"
