    ARGGHHHH SUAREZ!!!!!

2 harsh results on England - both 50/50 games and got nothing to show from either. Oh well...

england always loses to what people call 50-50 games. only once in 30 years has england beaten a 'big team' :kitty:

This "team" are a national disgrace. But it's ok they will rock up next season with some fancy celebration when they score whilst cashing their disgusting undeserved paychecks. how do these ***** sleep.

Who are you going to support for the rest of World Cup?

Netherlands. Drew them in the sweep stake at work. Might get something out of the World Cup yet.....

If Italy beat Costa Rica they will rest every player of importance against Uruguay.

Can't see that happening, as Italy now can't guarantee progress until the last game.

Italy beat Costa Rica then Uruguay, and England beat Costa Rica 10-0.

    Mathematically possible...

DIssapointed in Sturridge, Stirling, Gerrard, Henderson, Johnson, Jagielka, Welbeck.

Only decent performances for me were Rooney and Cahill, but that's stretching it abit.

Rubbish... but did we expect any different.

England are not a bad side , they are a decent middle rankng side but a bit short of the quality required at this level

    Hodgson out. Gerrard out.

    No point in sacking Hodgson.

Did the Uruguay goalkeeper deliberately piss about at the end of added then?
We need Italy to win both games and obviously England to beat CR.

    Ita 9
    Uru 3
    CR 3
    Eng 3

So it would go to GD

Italy beat Costa Rica then Uruguay, and England beat Costa Rica 10-0.

    I guess that's it then.

As usual, time to look at the potential winners of the World Cup.

He better not have done! Never in all my days, there's no place for that in football.

He seemed to wait until the clock reached 95 and the whistle went as soon as he kicked it, the bastard!

Mathematically it's possible for England to qualify. I have yet to calculate the Maths so bear with me.

I don't think they really deserve to. Disgraceful.

I could see Costa Rica take a point off Italy

Hoddle is a clown and a moron and one of England's worst ever managers. I don't want to see this jerk talk. I'm going upstairs.

Tonight we were beaten by one man.

    Steven Gerrard?

(just a joke, I'm not making him the scapegoat for a poor performance)

I think this is clearly going to be a South American team's tournament.

Had we have lost playing like we did against Italy it wouldnt feel as bad, but that second half was just so bad, it was like watching us in 92 under Graham Taylor, England players go to pieces, there was less expectation this year so they can't blame the press hounding them
