It's double standards to approve an act in one circumstance because it's for your pleasure, and judge the same act in another circumstance because your pleasure is not involved. In either scenario the girl gave bjs for remuneration
Who said they approved of people in porn just because they watch it?

Lots of people watch porn but would think it embarrassing to participate in it and wouldn't encourage a child of theirs to. Lots of porn participants and prostitutes eouldnt want it approve of their kids following in their footsteps. That's not a double standard. Lots if people do thinks that they have to, or fall into situations or because of reasons particular to themselves.

A double standard would be if they thought it OK for them to do it but not others. Or ok for others to do but not them. What I think you are trying to argue for is moral equivalence - but I don't think it is equivalent to watch and to be in porn. That only works with child porn because you are providing a market for a crime so are definately doing something wrong. In adult porn you don't know the circumstances and conditions of its filming or necessarily what is coming up (not literally)....

That's nice and condescending. I don't think the porn world revolves around me somehow.

Judge me all you like for going with sex workers (escorts) from time to time, but at the end of the day my conscience is clear. I pay my taxes, don't fraudulently claim benefits, have never been convicted of a crime, have never beaten anybody up, stabbed somebody, burgled anybody or basically done anything to harm somebody else.

I'm sure you have a few skeletons in your closet, that you'd rather people did not know.

I find you rather morally judgemental tbh, almost as if you are whiter than white, which I bet you're not.

I'm not actually judging you jra, and I'm not judging this girl either.

Well it's not exactly tea and scones at Betty's cafe!

If they watch porn they're approving it with their body, deriving great pleasure from it. To enjoy it and to disapprove at the same time is hypocritical. Why not disapprove of their own behaviour, why focus the disapproval on the protagonists? You end up with the scenario that people enjoy watching porn yet feel entitled to label the participants 'sluts' and '****'.

I have never said it was equivalent to watch and take part in porn: in the former there is simply a degree of complicity, in the latter there is direct personal activity. It's the difference, in Declan's extreme example, between getting off on footage of someone being murdered and actually murdering them.

Obviously all pissed and not after full sex, just an adult bit of fun. Too much fuss being made of this (and yes, I've seen the video)
There's too much 'adult fun' in the Magalufs of this world. That goes for both men and women. There I've gone and made myself sound like an old fuddy duddy but it seems young Brits in particular have a certain reputation.....

A relative of mine who was living in Switzerland (recently passed away), said the Brits had a bad press in Europe. I'm not surprised really and a lot of it boils down to drinks being cheaper in many other European countries (with a few exceptions), than they are in the UK. So, when Brits can get cheap booze, some of them overdo it and the consequences are there for all to see.

I've got very drunk many a time, but all that happens with me is that I get more talkative (if that is possible :p ) and/or fall asleep. Sadly, some people are a lot worse than that, particularly from an aggression point of view. I've always maintained that alcohol brings out the real you and in many cases this is not a good thing.

    You're missing the point again.
Most people are horrified by this video, that a young 18 year old girl would humiliate herself inthat way.
They watch the video to see what happened, someone earlier gave the example if you google 911 video are you complicit in it.

She is undoubtedly a dirt bag.

My word, what a filthy little midden (yes, I'm judging her, so bloody sue me)
How devastated must her family be hearing about such filthy endeavours.

No doubt she has the usual "mental problems" and "needs help" yadda yadda yadda.

Could it be that she's just a rather, shall we say, promiscuous (and that's me being polite) young 'lady' who got shitfaced on holiday and degraded and embarrassed herself and her family a bit too far?

Although it does pose the question - where were her friends? Where was the staff in the bar/club? Why was the girl allowed to get in this state in the first place?

The 'lads' aren't any better either, obviously, and should all be thoroughly ashamed.

True, why not. They are. Some people get pleasure out of watching pros or sluts perform. It doesn't mean they approve of being one.

And obviously watching porn doesn't mean you approve of the action any more than watching a horror flick means you approve of hacking someone to pieces. The idea is just silly. Something can entertain you that you don't approve off - sometimes the pleasure is in it being illicit or bizarre.

To approve a performance and to approve of being a 'pro' are 2 completely different things.

If you've enjoyed a performance, you have found it satisfactory, you have found it acceptable, you have approved it on some level. If you really didn't find it acceptable, if you sincerely disapproved, you wouldn't have watched it at all.

I'm not saying you can't be entertained by something you disapprove of btw, just that that it's hypocritical.

Everybody is a hypocrite. It just boils down to the degree that one is.

Well as her details are now publc

Someone is using the EU data protection laws to remove some of the results from google.co.uk while they are included on a google.com search.

Twitter on the other hand are giving her name as a recommended alt search option. :D

Interesting how this new EU law allows people to delete any mess up they make in life.

I'm not really sure we should be against that though.

In the past, if you did something like this, it would just be a very shameful mistake that you would put behind you. But now it's on the internet along with your name forever more.

Especially as 4Chan have apparently got hold of the original uncensored video and performed a complete doxing of her, including names, addresses, phone numbers of her and some of her relatives, including sending the original vid to various family members. All I can say is (a) I'm not sure whether this has definitely been verified, (b) I bet these people would think differently if any one of them were in a similar compromising position and (c) just :o .

The brain power of sexually frustrated virgin shut-ins is something to behold. Must be jealous they weren't in magaluf at the time, the absolute cretins.
