    I wouldn't say it's hot, but it's warm though.

    Flipping baking in London.
I went shopping around midday and pulling the trolley back from Lidls I was sweating like a docker. There is no breeze, and the air is warm to breath.

Yes it's hot round my way. About 24 degrees but it feels warmer than that. Very hot and sticky.

Hot in Harrow, wish I had popped down the coast on my new bike.

Don't like it like this as its quite "muggy" when in London can feel the pollution

Only 14C in Shetland. Wonder if it's a heatwave for them too?

14 degrees? Blimy! Here (Bromley) it's not supposed to go below 17 degrees tonight! Would be ok if I didn't live in a ground floor flat so I can't have the widows open at night😞!

My family are probably sweltering in Shortlands, Beckenham and West Wickham at the moment, it was horrid in Mayfair today, but a delight to step off the train at Folkestone to a much pleasanter temperature.

Mind you its still going to be a rare very warm night here

I was cooking earlier walking round town... Couldn't breathe. My legs were burning through my white skinny jeans :o should've worn shorts. The car said it was 27° on the way back. I might emigrate to Iceland, I can't deal with heat unless I want it, I love sunbathing, but doing work and getting on with stuff when it's boiling is nigh on impossible unless you don't mind looking a tramp, especially for me.

It got up to 27C in Peterborough today - and it's only going to get worse tomorrow (up to 31, according to the BBC).

With a record high of just 23.4c. The Shetlands Isles look lovely but I think the weather would take a hell of a lot of getting use to.

    Hot now in central London

It's been OK during the day as there's been a good breeze but now it's still and sultry

oh..........just been outside on my balcony........there's still a nice cooling breeze out there

So I guess it's just still and sultry indoors........:o
