It doesn't know what to do this weather in Glasgow, pees it down for an hour, then the sun breaks out for an hour, then grey horribleness and clammy sweaty yuck.. My raincoat smells...urrgh need a shower, my showerhead is broken.. Hopefully kids sort the sleeping out and I can have a cool bath later, been soaked and dried off too much today, yuck!
Thunderstorm here at the moment (Leyland). Funnily enough the sun is shining looking out of the windows on one side of the building and dark, very dark side on the other.
You must have sent that to me earlier...I got caught in one whilst out with the dog...it came from over Leyland way.
This is an excellent website for tracking lightning strikes in real time as they happen, and if the storms over Friday & Saturday are as big as being suggested then this should be a really fine way of following them.
Sat in bed (north Bristol) watching tendrels of lightning stretch across the skies. It's incessant. A fork about every 5-10 seconds. Strangely, there's not that much noise!

Terrible here in Perthshire. Thunder lightening and torrential rain. Black as night.

Fine, but threatening here right now.
Hi SB,
That was a cracker and a hail storm with it, never seen so much hail come down like that, it looked like sea foam floating on all the water!
Didn't see any lightning though
I don't mind a storm, unless it knock out Sky, but I wouldn't want it that bad.
Not if you were about to play cricket it wasn't>:(
I have never known as many storms in just a few days.
Houghton-le-Spring Nth East, around Washington/Sunderland.
Lucky it's Friday, be a lot of Frimley residents woke up by this.
Anywhere could be affected.

It is really bad.
Well it was, it's died down a bit now moving North at quite a pace, that was an intense 20 mins though!
