Towards the end of BBOTS, when she was sitting on the sofa with Danielle, Danielle asked her if she thought her leaving the house was the reason for her eviction, I thought Kimberly answered no, and mentioned having "ague in her arm."
Ague is a feverish, shivering fit caused by maleria or a similar disease.
What the heck?

She said she had a drip in her arm for four days. Nothing about the ague, no idea where you got that from.
But don't get me started on that particularly grating Americanism again
:D:D
I drip on her arm and a little prick in her fanjo...no wonder she needed hospital treatment
:D:D
:D:blush::D:p
Tut tut tut you have both lowered the tone of the forum.:o
"That's nothing new" Kimberly replied
Pmsl - having said that, I've begun to warm to Steven since she left.
Are you claiming it's an "Americanism" to say "a IV" rather than "an IV"? If so, you're terribly wrong. It's as improper in the American language as in the English language.
Honestly, watching shows such as this ... no one should be implying (or directly stating) that Americans speak improperly. Not if they're listening to their own, British, housemates. Lazy language is endemic everywhere.
A IV inmy arm, apparently. Well I always look for something dramatic!
Hell yeah!
Innit do, bruv! Respec' 😆
Well since I've only ever heard Americans say it I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that it is in fact an Americanism.
Improper or otherwise.
You know what they say what happens when you assume ...
Have a nice day
:D High five.
