How can it possibly be right/legal for drivers to leave petrol stations and hurtle off down fast roads at speed in "charge" of vehicles up to the size of multi ton lorries whilst drinking piping hot coffee? It beggars belief!

Do they all hurtle off down the road at speed drinking piping hot coffee, or do they as has been said put iit in a drinks holder , or pull over / stop and have a break and a coffee ?
Motorway service stations stop selling hot drinks
What I take from your post is that you are that incompetent at driving you cannot do something as mundane as taking a drink as you drive...
We're taking coffee here, not dish water in a cup for £5
Unless they're scaddy gobs!
There are a few drive-thru Costa shops and of course the drive-thru McDs and Burger Kings serve coffee.
Perhaps get off their lard arses and walk?!?
Given that they do over 20 different types of coffee, I find it hard to believe that every single one is 'dish water in a cup'.
You'd only be paying upwards of £2.50 if you're ordering speciality drinks in larger sizes too.
They sell good coffee, they're experts in it. Just go in to a coffee tasting with one of their coffee masters to see what I'm on about.
They also have absolutely excellent service, often I'll walk in, we have a bit of a chat, and they give me my coffee, without me even having to order.
There are a few drive thru places here.
They are experts in marketing. Not coffee.
Their actual coffee, not syrupy froth is a bucket, is repulsive
BIB - Totally agree.
I love a Frappucino from Starbucks, I love their flavoured hot chocolates and some of their flavoured concoctions involving coffee... But their actual coffee is awful.
You mean you want the muffin arses to get out of their cars and walk inside for coffee and donuts...Ha they worked hard for that waddle...
Take it away from them and if they still want their needless, nutritionally void sugar snack, they can wobble inside the shop and get it.
Americans set themselves up for obesity with their lazy lifestyle
Why would you think I'm American...I'm not.
I'd say it's a given Americans would assume they can get a 'drive thru' sugar fix. It's certainly not a European thing
I know what your saying but being Canadian doesn't mean I'm American...I would never presume you were Scottish or Irish. :)
and we are just as bad for needing the drive thru sugar fix
I see what you are talking aboot eh. :D
