As another glorious summer day draws to a close, don't forget it's Wednesday - Corrie is ON - and it's set to be a noisy episode.........

The Midweek Ratings Poll will be up as per usual at 8pm. Last Wednesday's episode, when Faye let the bailiffs into Bully Beef Owen's gaff, was fairly well liked (probably for the wrong reasons though) scoring 6 out of 10 exactly on mean average. Ciao!
Gail Force is FEWMIN about Crazy Nick's attempt to destroy Les Dennis's ice cream van with a few conifers and some compost so she summons him to A Platt Conference which Audrey has organised  she wants the whole thing settling once and for all, but Nick could well prove to be the spanner in her works Agatha thinks that shining soap cliché, Choose Him Or Me, will be wheeled out for the nine hundredth time............
Scrounging Dennis's future in Weatherfield looks precarious despite Julie begging Party Seven Rita to give him another chance, and Rita wondering if she should, it looks like it's all over after she sees Dennis behaving hideously to Norris ;-) ..............
That preposterous library "storyline" is hotting up too >:( Kal's nosy mother, Royston, Emily Bishop, Chainsaw Mary and Wonderful Craig (that's Beth's son in case you haven't been paying attention, and Lord KNOWS nobody would blame you) are off to the library for their sit-in protest to halt its closure now, viewers, let's play a game - it's called Who Gets Locked In The Library For The Night? At least one of them does  whoever gets it right gets a trophy from Agatha.........
Just so we don't get too excited, Manky Maddie is in this episode too and she's looking after SIMON

Hello there all you Cobbleheads
Cheers for the thread and episode summary, aggie.:D
On Monday I pointed out that Les likes his number plates like he likes his women......his ice cream van plate is E57 SAG
Just to prove my point, and these images may cause offence and some distress.

Still haven't watched the episodes from Monday as Boyfriend's Commonwealth Games viewing is playing havoc with the usual schedule >:(
Hi all!
So, head on over to the Survivor thread(s) and cast your votes!
Corrie: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1991103
And
Emmerdale: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1991102
July is drawing to a close so it’s time to start thinking about your team for August’s Corrie Challenge game.
Don’t worry if you have played before. The game is a bit like a simplified version of Fantasy Football so if you fancy having a go just read the rules below. And, if you're an Emmerdale viewer you can play the Emmerdale version of the game. Just check out any of this week's "Emmerdaily" thread for instructions.
Anyway, it’s a very easy game to play. The object of the game is to pick a team of 11 characters from those listed below which you think will score the more points than the other people playing the game.
Once you’ve whittled your shortlist down to 11 characters you will then need to nominate one of them as Captain. This character will have their score doubled so you’re really looking to identify the character which you think will score the most points during the month to maximise your chances of winning.
Then, simply post your choices on the thread or send them to me via PM, and keep an eye out for the Monday Episode Thread to see how your “team” is doing in the score updates.
The scoring system works as follows:-
+ 1 point per episode appearance
+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode.
+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode before the break.
+ 1 point for the character that speaks the first words in the episode after the break
+ 1 point for the character that speaks the last words in the episode.
+ 1 point for any kisses on the lips. If you have both characters who kiss in your team each character will receive a point.
+ 2 bonus points for any character that appears in 5 or more episodes during the week. In the event of any episodes being transmitted on a weekend the week will run from Monday to Sunday.
+ Remember that your team Captain gets their score doubled!!!
Once you’ve done all that you can also pick a name for your team. This will be listed in the Score Updates.
Your “Starting List” for August’s Corrie Challenge is as follows:-
• Remember you need to select ELEVEN characters (including a captain) – no more, no less.
