Are you sad the Commonwealth Games are (nearly) over?

It's really brightened up Glasgow... There seems to be a real sense of community spirit... A new optimism... Friendly smiling greeters welcoming you at the train stations and offering free ponchos if it's raining...
It's also a bonanza for the local economy. But I'll be glad to see Glasgow hotel prices dropping like a stone from tomorrow
Raining this morning although not too heavy... Hope the closing ceremony isn't a washout

Very proud of ma hood
No, but they have Kerry Katona and Coleen Nolan.:D
I understand we have the first 'European Games' next year to look forward to.
It sounds like it was in London in 2012. People actually smiling and talking to each other. It had a real 'feel good' atmosphere☺️I felt extrememly deflated when it finished, especially after such a long build up. There was nothing left to look forward to and everyone reverted back to charging around, not having the time to talk.😞
Back to cheap filler crap on the tv tomorrow
However, I am looking forward to a less crowded commute to and from work on the train.
Yes, the best thing about the Olympics and Commonwealths is that the "minority" sports get some time in the limelight. I couldn't believe I was watching netball yesterday morning and found myself screaming at the TV.
Never mind, the football season will be back next week so sport will be back to normal.
The NZ v Oz final is on at the moment and very exciting.
Lulu? I thought she was American now....."you guys"? URGH!
