The monumental mess engulfing Salisbury City took a fresh turn after the FA dismissed an appeal to allow the club back into the Conference and even refused club officials entry into their own hearing.
City were relegated from the non-league top tier in June after failing to pay off outstanding debts and then subsequently expelled a month later.
And after being barred from attending the hearing at Wembley on Tuesday, the directors released a statement on their website decrying the FA’s behaviour and claimed they are being ‘stitched up’ by the powers that be.
Salisbury claim fraud committed by a Moroccan business man Outail Touzar, who took on a 98 per cent stake in the club in May, has been overlooked by both the FA and the Conference. It is alleged he walked away with £4,000 of the fans’ money.
Hyde lost 0-1 at home to Oxford City on their return to Conference North, despite Oxford playing for the last hour with only ten men.
Looks like it's going to be another long hard season.
2-2 draw on Saturday away to Eastleigh, coming up on Saturday, we have Grimsby at the Stadium, memories of their play off loss still fresh in both teams minds.

No pitch invasion or flare throwing this time, I'll bet.
What do you all think of the FA trophy, is it a waste of time for the bigger non league club s? As a Grimsby fan I feel it has cost us dearly over the last two seasons.

I like it.
Realistically, a non league club is not going to get far in the FA Cup (bar the one or two teams that have a "run"), so it's nice to have a competition to aim for Wembley in.

Whitstable weren't too impressed; well, they were at the time getting further than ever before till being beaten by Ebbsfleet, but the inevitable fixture backlog caught up, and they eventually avoided relegation out of Ryman South
I'd still prefer to forget about yesterday though :D
Fair play, you quite obviously wanted it more. Any idea who those knackers were who came over to the home end before kick off and started (well tried) to cause trouble?
People like that just ruin it for those who genuinely want to support their team.

Welcome to the Conference, Torquay.
Well played
That was a long old trip for Torquay
When are you playing the return game. Not on a cold and snowy Tuesday night in December I hope
Chester must be wishing they'd never been reprieved
Looks like it's going to be another long hard season.
Nov 22nd.
Which is my birthday!
Hope you've asked for a long distance travelcard as your pressie
I think it's going to be a long season, Barnet didn't even need to be particularly good yet could have had double figures.
Off to Wrexham tomorrow as we play them.
All the best. Dartford away to Woking Tuesday.
No pitch invasion or flare throwing this time, I'll bet.

See you Saturday

If they keep playing like they did today they won't.
Missing our main keeper and star striker.
I'd still prefer to forget about yesterday though :D
