I usually treat myself to a film on blu-ray or a luxury magazine.

I collect stamps ( yeah I know sad ) and I will treat myself to a set of first day covers or will bid on some on ebay , as money is tight this does not happen often

Thing is I don't "treat" myself. If I want something I just buy it.

Its the things you can't buy that I would consider a "treat", like a lie-in.

Hair cut. I'm a reluctant customer, I know I should get it done more often, but I usually don't like them touching my fringe... they cut it too short. So I think of it as a treat because I don't do it very often.

If I could find a good chiropractor, I'd go for an adjustment as a treat. I went regularly a few years ago and it always made me feel better afterwards. I'm not really into pedicures or facials as I don't like strangers touching me like that. I'd be okay with a manicure I guess but I look after my nails just fine on my own.

Changed my diet about 6 months ago to drastically reduce simple carbs.

Bread now is a real treat for me. Had a couple of lovely crusty rolls for lunch yesterday.

Pyclets, from a small place in the market hall in Derby. I’ll usually have a pair to eat there (the smoked salmon & horseradish cream topped pyclets are excellent), and buy another 12 or so to take back home with me. Love them.

Not much, if at all anything, I rarely enjoy doing anything these days, even TV I've give up on

I like nothing better than a day off, with NOTHING to do. I always find on my days off I have jobs to do like washing the car, ironing, hovering, dusting blah blah. I could count the days on one hand when I do nothing.

I like to sit in my comfy armchair with a box of choccies, a bottle of red wine and some good films on the TV. I could literally sit there all day, getting up for wee breaks only.

A bottle of good Champagne, a decent fillet and some Loch Fyne smoked salmon usually does the trick for me. Trouble is I end up cooking it all with some McCain oven chips, which rather spoils the image. Although I like to think of it as shabby chic!:(:D
