Just watching an old episode of Mock the Week, that Greg Davies is awful. Really awful, not funny at all....
YUK
I have a flexible and varied soh but he really puts me off
Any comedians/comediennes you find distasteful and or a waste of space?
Quite a few, actually, but top of the list is certainly the really awful Michael McIntyre. Passes me right by, yet he is hugely successful. Bizarre.
Ever since 'comedy' allegedly 'became the new rock and roll', it is regarded as a career and there are soooo many around who think they are soooo hilarious. Last night I caught the 6.30 Radio 4 spot and it was the last in a series which featured 'comedians' from the Fringe, and boy were all three bad. I didn't have to listen but I was driving so what the hell. I could not believe how unfunny they were. At the end credits they gave the name of the editor, which must mean what we heard was the best. So how bloody awful was the worst.
Russell Kane. I can't stand the bloke, he irritates the hell out of me. Also I don't like Ricky Gervais. I hate the way he looks so smug and amused by his own jokes, laughing away to himself >:(
now i really don't like griff rhys jones - but then i met him and he was so rude to me it really put me off.
Rhys-Jones was only ever funny on Not The Nine O'Clock News - I've never found anything he's done since that to be remotely amusing. I must say too - I never thought anyone could stretch out It'll Be Alright On The Night and make it even more boring than Dennis Norden made it - but Rhys-Jones proved me wrong.
edited to say i also greatly dislike that cretin who does mrs browns boys & all the rest of the cast.
While I don't really find Mrs Brown's Boys all that funny (I haven't given it much chance to be honest) I DO like Brendan O'Carroll - he seems like a decent kind of chap.
Michael McIntyre
Miranda Hart
That absolute cretin behind 'Mrs Brown's Boys'
Ricky Gervais
For the life of me, I will never ever ever understand either Michael McIntyre or Miranda Hart's appeal. I actually find them offensive to everything I hold dear about comedy. They are anti-comedy personified.
I like Ricky though. While I don't like everything he's done, I can forgive him easily because of The Office and Extras.

Miranda. I feel bad saying it as she seems a nice lady & is an ok actress. But its that show Miranda!! Its just so ****ing naff! All the characters are sooooo irritating. The storyline are predictable & cringy. The whole vibe is just TWEE. And she falls over all the time & everyone has hysterics! WHY for the love of God???

Thread has been done before at least 13 times. The answer is "comedy is subjective".

I thought it was just me.
Michael McIntyre (I just don't get it)
John Bishop (I like the chap as a person but his comedy is SO dated)
James Corden
Frankie Boyle
Miranda Hart
... and I find Peter Kaye his outstaying his welcome as far as I'm concerned.
now i really don't like griff rhys jones - but then i met him and he was so rude to me it really put me off.
I don't like justin fletcher, and frank skinner, i dont get alan carr but i'm sure he's a nice enough chap.

Lenny Henry
Ricky Gervais
Alexei Sayle
Can i say Jim Carey? God he grates on me.

Give him a break, it can't be easy having Anne as a mother.
