There was a time when most people thought August was the most likely month for hot sunny weather - but it rarely seemed the case.
It's disappointingly nippy though and not what the global warming zealots promised us at the turn of the century. Still, we've had a much better summer than usual this year.

Seems like a typical uk summer to me.
Of course when I woke again in the morning I was sweating.
Where were you living for the previous 10 years?
I never thought I'd have the heating on in mid-August!
I've had a snotty cold for two days, sneezing, head ache, cough, sore throat...
When all last winter with out a sniffle..
So I saw on the weather forecast last night
I don't mind it though. It's still nice and comfortable weather, and we had a cracking July.
Where have you lived for some of the recent winters? Here in Britain there has been record breaking cold weather.
