Life after Life by Kate Atkinson.
I'm about an hour in to the audiobook version and am quite enjoying it so far. I think that it may have the potential to become repetitive and somewhat tedious though.

I started and got quite a long way into I am Rembrandt's Daughter by Lynn Cullen last night. I have a suspicion the narrator may turn out not to be Rembrandt's daughter, but it's entertaining enough as it goes along.

Natchez Burning by Greg Iles; long but gripping and, given the recent events in Ferguson, topical.

Stumbled across this author, and love her books.

There are always two stories going on, past and present.

    Gripping protagonists and very creepy.

I read that one, excellent book!!:D

I'm re-reading all of the 'Sharpe' series by Bernard Cornwell. This time I started with Rifles (quite good), and now I'm on with Eagle (excellent). I plan to leave the India set ones till last.

I re-watched the entire tv series a few weeks ago, and it's interesting to re-compare the books and tv versions.

I've just started the "Noughts & Crosses" series by Malorie Blackman.

I have read them before but I don't think that I finished "Checkmate" which was the fourth. It's been too long since I read them to just start on "Checkmate".

I accidentally bought another copy of "Double Cross" yesterday thinking that I didn't have it. I didn't realise that I had all of the books in the series. It wasn't helped by the fact that this copy has a different cover. If it had been the cover that I already have I would probably have recognised it.

Finished Steve Clarke's Only Fools and Horses: The Inside Story. Good in-depth story about the development of some of TV's most famous characters and how the series grew in popularity.

Finished E M Forster's Howard's End. A slow-burner story about social conventions in turn of the century England. A favourite with many but I was underwhelmed.

Finished Peter James's Want You Dead. Decent outing for DI Grace even if the character of the principal victim lacked credibility.

Just finished Enigma by Robert Harris. Overall good but dragged in places. Harris certainly researches his books well but sometimes overdoes the technical stuff! Not sure what to read next, probably another Harris.

Wool by Hugh Howey, audiobook version. Quite good so far.

I'm reading Not Dead Enough (Roy Grace 3) by Peter James. I really like this series but would prefer the mortuary scenes to be a little less detailed!

I have just put this in my top 10!

Currently reading "We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves." Half way through it at the moment, it's quite strange and I'm not too sure I am enjoying it.

    Hotel Alpha - Mark Watson

OK I suppose. A bit slow in places and a bit rushed in others. Also seems to use references to real world events (ie. '92 election) as padding.
