I'm in two minds about independence.

I'd love the Scots to get it. But if they do, it's game over for labour in England.

And they go any vague hope of my earning a 'living wage'.....

so is it gonna be ANY different from the first one right?

and not have them whining about "not 'aving and answers and bollocks like that"

Wow Darling talking about the economy, well that's a bit disingenuous

Fantastic opening by Salmond, negative baloney from Darling, no turning back, what doesn't he get about independence

Sounds like there is a "yes" bias in the audience.

You can raise taxes, Salmond, with the powers you've already got. But you don't. I wonder why...

"Vote for me and I'll raise your taxes" has never been a successful political slogan.

I hope not. I hate it when people go walkies in debates. It's just attention seeking.

Salmond repeated something he and other Scots repeat time and time again including on this forum: "An independent Scotland wouldn't go on any illegal wars". Really? The last Iraq war was taken by a New Labour government that was voted in just as enthusiastically by Scots as it was by the English.
