    The paramedics and fire service were stood by as they desperately tried to free Barry. He was trapped and losing a lot of blood

    "Jack, stay awake. I will be right back, I promise." Simon said softly.

    Jack tried his hardest to stay awake.

    Carol was freed from the back of the bus after persuasion to leave Barry in safe hands.
