Am I correct in thinking just before Walcott's injury he was on fire, having never played better and banging the goals in?
Yep. People point to Ramsey & Ozil's injuries, but losing Theo was where our season really started to deteriorate.
I really hope he comes back the same player, but his pace was such a huge part of his game and I'm worried he'll have lost something after the long layoff.
It's so quiet that the Spuds fans have resorted to starting wind up threads about our players.
I was tempted to counter with one about erm... Danny Rose or Kyle Naughton but I guess that even those that have heard of them wouldn't give a shit would they?.

Boring old Interlull.
Yep, always one 'green' eye on our club and our players.

I just hope we get through yet another blasted international break in tact - we could do with some luck in this front for a change.
Brilliant!
I loved the last paragraph I have to say. Hit the nail on the head perfectly.
One of the comments;
RVP - also known as the 'human tampon'.
In for one week, out for a month.
Can't have been too bad.
:D:D
Me too I just read that out loud, brilliant
Fine in Leagues One and Two. I'm not sure a Top 4 side should be appreciating "effort and passion" over world class skill.
Yes I know it is a (very well written) story, I will ave to read his other work.
Not quite in the same vein is

So am I. He looked better for the 10 minutes last night than Sanogo has this season.
That's hardly difficult That said, with the feed he will get this season I'm hoping we will get a lot out of Wellbeck.
Haha! Stuff that tug at the heartstrings.
Looking forward to seeing the lad play.
He certainly was one of our better players, when is he coming back anyway? Can't be long now surely.

As for Walcott, I'm a big fan - his goals and assists counts demand respect.

Brilliant! I still miss him
In other news, Welbeck has scored for England. I'm really looking forward to seeing him play for us when normal service is eventually resumed.
