I see Serena had bulldozed her way through another match.

    Congratulations Serena. :D

A truly wonderful victory and record to achieve. :D

I think its crazy when I see people saying Serena is done etc etc, she's just proved she is FAR from done. :D:cool:

Lovely display from Caroline coming over the other side of the net to congratulate Serena. :D Must be so difficult to play against your close friend.

I hope Caroline can continue to play well from here on in.

    That's not her fault.

I hate how they make such a big deal about the money. It's tacky.

Must be a bit rough for Caroline to stand there while Martina and Chris come on. What would they have done if Serena lost?

Anyone think that Caroline can actually win a slam or do we think that this tournament was an outlier rather than a sign of the future?

I think Steffi and Margaret Court may have something to say about that.

That bracelet would fetch a good sum on ebay.

That's a hell of a call. I'm expecting Azarenka to be back in business then too so it'll be a hugely interesting tournament.

I'll have to quote your comment again at the start of next season. :p

Does Serena age? Christ she's 7 weeks younger than Federer and he looks so ordinary nowadays compared to his 04-09 era, yet Serena still plays like she's 23.

I'm assuming she has no interest having children so we'll probably seeing her at 45 still winning majors quite possibly.

She's listing it on eBay later as it doesn't match her fierce leopard print look. :D
