Yeah Baby! Just got home from hospital in time, feeling fine and contemplating at least one beer for finals night. (Totally against Doctor's orders but they always say that)
So up the hill on crutches I go to get me some beer. BRB.

Well the consultant did the OP and then was off. I see him in two weeks time when he actually tells him what he found. But from what the nurses said, it's had a tidy up and the tops of the bone is fractured - which I knew already.
Modern anaesthetics are wonderful and nothing like they were. Pop off and pop back on again feeling wide awake and feeling great.
I was stuffing a cheese sarnie and coffee within minutes.
Feeling good now and off to get my first beer! (No pain killers needed at the moment)
