Would you go to/been to a school reunion?

I would love to go a reunion and see how people have turned out. A couple of friends from pre-school I see now and again. But I would love to see how the "popular" people turned out in later life.

I'd never even consider going to one of my own though.
Unless it was with a giant can of petrol and a box of matches....
Those times and people belong in the past, which can sometimes appear with hindsight better than it actually was.
My former secondary does have a group on Facebook, which I did join, but I realised how few people I knew when I was at school, it was quite depressing
Ah now a post reunion sounds a good idea
As for a reunion, well frankly I can't even remember the names of more than one of two of them, and I'm not really interested in all this reunion stuff anyway. Just seems like pointless nostalgia.
I'd much rather take the time and go with my actual friends to a weekend in Cabo or Vegas.
I don't want to go and too much time has elapsed.
I'm a very different person from what I was 32 or so years ago, so I probably wouldn't relate very well to most people that I knew in school, and I expect the feeling is mutual.
Anyway, two of my favourite people that were at school are actually the daughters of my dad's partner, so I can be in contact with them anyway, if I want to.
Time passes, people move on in life. I've made new friends in the meantime.
I wouldn't want to see almost any of those a-holes ever again.......and I'd have to kill at least one of them.
I'm on board with that sentiment
I would have liked to have given some of my teachers a slap. However, most of them that taught me have passed away now.
In my case, I was lucky that the teachers were mostly great - it was the other pupils that were the problem and who I would avoid seeing at all costs!
Exactly this.
