New thread for those of us watching at UK pace.
We now have a date and time - October 13 at 9pm - so only three weeks behind the US.

Starts in 2 weeks and i've seen very little advertising and promotion for Gotham. Are any of the major cast even coming to the UK to publicise the show at all?
Glad to see that it's starting soon on Channel 5 but I hope it gets decent ratings otherwise Channel will properly move it or drop it!
Yeah, but that's the thing. You have to be watching Ch5 to be seeing those adverts and we all know Ch5 is one of the least viewed channels. So is it being advertised anywhere else? On other channels? Billboards? Bus stops? On buses? In magazines? At the cinema?
I've seen The Leftovers on Sky Atlantic advertised at the cinema for the past 3 weeks straight and it's already 3 episodes in. Where's the same for Gotham?
Why not get some of the cast over to appear on Graham Norton or Alan Carr or on breakfast tv. You know, actually make an effort! Make it seem like you give a damn.
Ch5 spend absolutely no money on promotion, publicity, adversting, nothing. Then they wonder why it doesn't get good ratings and start complaining and blame low viewing figures! It happens all the time.

I don't use Twitter, but fair enough. Don't get me wrong i'm looking forward to watching Gotham i think it's got the potential to be a great show. I just don't have faith that the channel will do it justice. We'll see what happens in 2 weeks.
Personally I'm just glad they are bringing one of the most anticipated new shows this season to the widest possible audience on Freeview. I expect there's more chance of this being talked about at work etc than if it was stuck on some low key channel on Sky.
Maybe it's because Arrow is so good, I'm unconsciously thinking this won't be a patch on it, even though i know it's going to be a wholly different show.
Don't know really, we'll see after the first episode.
And as others have said I've spotted the advert on different channels than channel 5.
I also guess with giving the US a 3 week head start we shouldn't have any breaks until the mid season break.
Read a comment from a US viewer who questioned why anyone would want to live in Gotham. 😃
"Gotham" has been a nick-name for New York since long before there was a Batman comic book.
That would be a problem for me as I don't watch Channel 5 I have seen ads on Sky channels for it though.
The Blacklist series 2 has billboards up in my town.
All there own channels so not spending a penny!
I'm looking forward to this, but it's gonna have to be good from the start with it going up against The Walking Dead and Arrow/Flash
I watched the 1st epi last night via hulu & absolutely loved it! ❤️
(well worth checking out!!!) 👍
Cannot wait!
I can't wait to see this show.
I'm watching from Ireland, but on the sky box over here, Channel 5 is in the 'other channels' section, meaning I can't record it. Some nights I might be able to catch it live, some nights not, so that won't do. Anyone know any other way I can see this ?
Thanks in advance!

I'm confused what you mean by it being up against The Flash & Arrow on a Monday night as neither of those shows are going to be airing on a Monday night here in the UK?
When that was posted neither show had there air date confirmed yet.
As Arrow was on Monday season 1 and most of season 2 before moving to Thursday, I'm guessing the poster assumed it was going to be on Monday
