Danny Mac nominated for an acting award. The NTAs have a sense of humour!

I voted EastEnders, it's really improved over the last year.

Maddy Hill, she fits so naturally in to the show.

Linda Henry. Although Kellie Bright has done this storyline well, it has only just began and Linda Henry has been consistently amazing for so many years. So glad she has finally been nominated.

Eastenders, Maddy Hill and Linda Henry get my votes although Kellie also deserves it.

Corrie got my vote and I voted for Paula Lane as I think she has done an amazing job with all her storylines in past couple of years.

Glad for Michael and Emma, but really don't understand why Danny is up surely there was somebody else who could have been put up for it.

    Wot SULLA said.

Awards are political a lot of the time. They've probably put him up because he's a known name, he has fans who might vote - didn't he win something else, way back?

It's daft though, I agree. He's been back 2 months and hasn't even had a storyline - just been bolted on to Adam's and Edna's. But that's how these daft things go - merit doesn't often come into it. It's great the rest of the ED field is so strong though - even if they won't win, as usual.

Agree with cyrilandshirley and Abbey's posts.

Voted for Michael Parr (of course;-)), but EE's Maddy Hill (Nancy) will probably win Best Newcomer.

Surely EE will win the NTA next month. It has been the best soap this year and is on fine form at the moment and would be nice to win it on the 30th anniversary. EE last won it in 2011.

Definitely Maddy Hill, Linda Henry for EastEnders for me. I feel sometimes people forget the actors that do no wrong as opposed to the actor that sometimes do things really right.

Yes, and the show was horrendous every year after until DTC arrived! So hopefully EastEnders do win it this year!

Exactly. They have nominated him simply because he's probably their best chance of winning.
