    Conning people. I would never do it myself of course. Saying it because you don't need any equipment, capital or necessarily even much knowhow. I suppose the gift of the gab could be classed as a skill but I still think it would be an easy way to do it.

    Gambling I'm not sure about. It's much easier to lose than it is to win and if you wanted to win that kind of money consistently you'd have to be very good.

    If you were wealthy already I supoose the answer would be doing nothing and letting the interest on your savings grow.

    The easiest way to make £1000 is to bet a large amount of money on a very long odds-on bet

    For example £100,000 on something at 1/100, say if Chelsea drew a non league team in the FA Cup

    It's only easy if you know how to do it/are good at it. How many people could really make £1000 in a week by any means if they were given they challenge?

    True. Most people probably couldn't. Although if you're an attractive woman with a decent figure it would be quite easy to set yourself up as a 'high class' escort.

    Maybe if you're into antiques or anything else that can be bought at auction you might get lucky with some good purchases and selling them on for a profit.
