well, he's off on one again. good old Chuka - the gift that keeps on giving.:D

Ukip has been condemned as 'absolutely vile' by Labour rising star Chuka Umunna, who accused Nigel Farage of trying to blame foreigners for all of Britain's problems.

In his most outspoken attack yet, Mr Umunna said Ukip was 'sowing the seeds of division' by accusing 'that bunch over there' of being responsible for a shortage of housing, GP appointments and well-paid jobs.

Whatever your opinions on UKIP are (and mine are varied), UKIP have definitely shaken up the established parties, (for better in my opinion), as they have now forced the main parties into discussing the 'taboo' subjects' they used to ignore.

As opposed to those who blame the conservatives and/or mrs Thatcher for all Britains problems. Its just petty party politics and we'd all be better off without it.

right wing newspaper attacks member of the Labour party for speaking out against a right wing party shock horror,
I think a quick read of the comments section below the report gives one a 'flavour' of exactly what we are dealing with here.

    For example,
Ukip still have my vote, ship them all out and give UK back to the British.

    ;-)

Give the UK back to the British? Where is that sentiment when talking about Northern Ireland and a united Ireland? ;)

    Huh:confused:

As far as I can see, the evidence on this forum proves the opposite, that it's the left wing that are intent on the absolutely vile destruction of this country.

Doesn't seem entirely unreasonable given the antics of many of their membership.
And the last point is simply factually correct.

Chuka Umunna YOU are 'are absolutely vile'.

Pretending to support the views of the less well off in society whilst living a champaign socialist lifestyle.

The Labour party would be better off without Politicians like you.

    .

A perfect summing up of Farage if you drop the word "socialist".

Labours still in denial for sure, they haven't changed at all.

Their world ends when they reach the M25.

BTW: He forgot to mention school places due to the baby boom with immigrant mothers.

Its not "Foreigners"" per-se but mass immigration over the last few years has undoubtedly not been helpful on the scale it has happened,at least Farage has got this on the agenda, whilst Chukka was part of the party that opened the gates in the first place.

Chukka is about as man of the people as Tony Blair was.

Not many convictions as a politician but has lots to say.

How i weep when i see the likes of the Labour front bench now,and think of the likes of Barbara Castle,Tony Benn, although people may have disagreed with them, they were far more then soundbite politicians. Unlike ER Chukka, who is as far removed from the parties core vote as you could possibly get,:(

Ah sorry - you're right. He didn't blame all foreigners. He made an allowance for his German wife, who, as his secretary, is apparently doing a job that no British person is qualified to do, so she is actually an asset to the country.

    Sorry for the confusion.

 How does evidence on this forum lead to you that assumption?

Meanwhile, on a daily basis on this forum, UKIP supporters continue to rail against pretty much every section of society that they deem to be unrepresentative of their sepia-hued Shire-like vision of Britain. Just today in another thread we've seen a UKIP supporter moaning about 'riff raff in sneakers spoiling a night on the town' for some people. So we can seemingly add trainer-wearing riff raff to the list of people that are contributing to societies ills.

THAT is the very definition of divisiveness, THAT is the very essence of right wing populism and THAT is the strategy of UKIP.

When Chuka accuse UKIP of being vile, he's basically saying that of all their increasing voters.

Maybe he should make the case for why he's right and their wrong instead of just saying he can't stand them.

Immigration and the EU have been on the agenda for ages and ages and ages, rather than ignored and haven't been remotely taboo (that's UKIP propaganda). eg Hague and Howard's campaigns in recent history.

Applause! And, UKIP supporters, people can see straight through the 'if you criticise them, more people will vote for them' bullcrap.
