Simple the squad is not suitable for the Cl. Only Chelsea and City's are. We can not just expect to go to these places and win. You have to earn it. Cl games are always hard. Problem is you neef the team to play the right games. We are so limited thats the problem.

Really? Makes you wonder why he wasted those precious 'limited' resources the board allow him on Alexis rather than on midfield and defence doesn't it? Surely the weaknesses in those positions would have been much more of a priority to him seeing how he is still such a top class manager wouldn't they?
That isn't to say that I think the Alexis signing was bad (although given how appallingly he is mis-managing the Ozil situation we should probably reserve judgement) but I think other areas of the team were crying out for far more urgent attention.

I admit the handling of the Ozil situation and that transfer window was poor, but it's obvious there's something going on the background that prevented him from buying in the summer. Wenger isn't perfect, but he's not incompetent.
