How the hell did Linda come into this???

Is this a joke thread? Either a joke thread that's not funny or a troll!

    He should not return.

What does he have to do with linda anyway?

Characters like Michelle, mark jnr, grant, Vicki, spencer, April, Steven, little mo, Zoe etc should be brought back due to links in the show

Or potential freiendships like Binnie and della becoming friends with ronnie and Roxy while in Ibiza. Can't see gus being friends with any if the current cast unless Robbie returns first.

They should recast him with Morgan Freeman playing the part.

Gus could easily sweep the deadwood away in one episode.

What does Gus have to do with Linda?! I don't think it likely Gus will return. He was a boring character.

Maybe Linda is complaining because the street outside the Vic needs sweeping.

Gus went off to be a musician so maybe he could come back and take Rebecca under his wing.

Please no! There's nothing for him in the Square in any case.

There doesn't need to be anything in the square for a character to return...

He doesn't even have Wellard to come back to.

Besides a random return for Gus paves the way for Juley. Nobody needs that.

I think you're all being significantly short-sighted. Legacy characters like Gus are important for the future of the show, especially when much of the groundwork for the 30th anniversary going into EEs 4th decade was arguably down to Gus' hard work alone and no one elses.

According to DTC's Twitter, Gus lives in Monaco with President Schwartz, so there may be no return :(

The big floaters that Charlie has to shift in the old people's home are far better characters (and actors) than bloody Gus ever was.

    Tokenism at it's very worst.

Gus could be sweeping up the remnants of Dot's hair after she decides to try a Mohawk look when he overhears Dean taunting Linda about the rape. Dropping his dustpan in disgust, Gus gets the doof doofs.

He was a truly terrible character - I wish Sean had killed him.

His bloody broom was a far superior actor and a hell of a lot less wooden. :D

It was the most watchable the bloody block of wood ever was when Sean was making him suffer. :D:D:D

I wish he would come back and KTFO the Philth - but TPTB would never allow that of course.
