Hey up Cobblewatchers! Dullag has kindly asked me to stand in for tonight so let's see what The Prat In The Hat's idea is for fun Friday night viewing:kitty::

NotHitlerTodd offers to take his mum, Jason and Eva out for dinner in an attempt to build bridges. Eileen initially refuses ( well done Eileen, he's probably only trying to soften you up so you don't go mental when he goes and invades someone else's boyfriend), but when Roy tells her of his 'heroic' deed she agrees to cut him some slack. Since when does picking up a few eggshells count as a heroic deed that cancels out being an utter gobsh!te for months?? Anyway, they go to the - where else?- Ah Bistro/Just Nick's/Only Leanne's/whateveritscalledthesedays:p - where Jason shows he's got sense (miracles will never cease!!) and warns his mum not to believe his beastly bro or she'll end up broken hearted again and Eileen changes her mind. Downbeat Todd wanders off down a dark street where he is set upon and mugged....must not cheer...must...not...

Elsewhere on the street, Tracyluv hasn't slept and is feeling terrible, and who could blame her? Doing the right and decent thing must be such a painful shock to her system:p.
Meanwhile, Anna and Tim are proud of Fayetan after a successful parents evening, but Tim is secretly worried, that having agreed to run the school Christmas auction, he'll have to read from a script. Which of course won't be a problem, as you, me, the world, his wife and his wife's cat, in fact everybody apart from those at Corrie-land knows that Tim can read just fine.
And unfortunately, just to spoil everyone's enjoyment, that awful, book obsessed, foghorn voiced atrocious excuse for an actor aka Kalorific's mum is here running a first aid course, which Izzy whizzy, Katy, Alya, Beth and Kirk attend. Oh joy.

As NotHitlerTodd lies battered and half conscious, a passer-by calls an ambulance. The police contact Eileen and Jason, who are horrified at Todd's injuries, and Eileen blames herself, telling Todd how sorry she is. Eileen, much better to say tough tits - if he hadn't behaved so appallingly his own mother wanted nothing to do with him, he wouldn't have been woefully walking down a dark street alone in the first place, so its his own fault:p.
Meanwhile, Cilla cooks Fizz, Tirrone, Ches, Sinead, Beth and Kirk a lovely meal, so Ches softens towards his mum and invites her to stay at number 5, and Sally catches Anna giving Tim a sympathetic hug when she finds out (he's being made to pretend) he's illiterate and offered to help him. How will Tim explain it to Sally?
And finally, Katy listens to some bloke she met three minutes ago telling her heroic tales of his time as a paramedic. Makes a change from walking up and down stairs I suppose:kitty:.
